Booked for 7.30 midweek, very quiet but it was early midweek, waiter was very helpful and friendly, menu varied, we had tapas which while I thought it didn't look much proved to be more than adequate, food was very tasty and quickly delivered, had a nice couple bottles of wine, all in a good experience and one I hope to... Went here with a group of friends and we all had the best experience! The food was amazing and we had the nicest waiter, the best I have ever come across! The prices are reasonable and the service of the food was brilliant. So disappointed that the exeter restaurant has closed, It will be missed.

My husband and I have dined frequently at La Tasca in Exeter since discovering it just over a year ago. We enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly service and tasty food. We went to take some friends to the Exeter La Tasca yesterday lunchtime but was extremely disappointed to find that it had shut down. Our nearest La Tasca is now Bath... More

For context, we were eating midweek and fairly early in the evening, so staffing levels were low, but when we arrived there were only 4 other customers. We waited for quite a while to be seated, probably 3 or 4 minutes, then about a further 5 before getting menus and placing our drinks order. Drinks took just over 25 minutes... More

Recently took in-laws who are mid-80s and mistrusted the idea of tapas. By the end of the evening they were totally converted to the idea of the variety of food in same meal, enjoyed the dishes they chose and are keen to go again. Unfortunately we then discovered there is no La Tasca in their nearest city, Salisbury, so how... More

We use this restaurant several times each year. This time, the service was poor, the waiter even forgot our coffee order! Overall, much slower than acceptable although we enjoy taking our time over a meal.

We chose La Tasca as we had been there for a work 'do' last year and had a lovely time. The food was every bit as tasty and plentyful as remembered. Over all we had a lovely night and while it was great not to feel rushed we did feel we waited longer than necessary before ordering and it seem... More

As an alternative to our usual places in Exeter, we tried this for lunch last Sunday. What a shame, the place was pretty empty, but the food and service was excellent. I went for the sangria, and it was very good, refreshing with a bit of a kick! We had some sharing bread for starters, which for the two of... More

Always seem to get a table by the door where draughts get you even though I booked and requested a table in the back ! Did get moved but a shame that my request was ignored . Good food ! Only drawback is the sangria is hit and miss in my opinion. Sometimes it's lovely and strong with a kick... More
