With huge windows obscured by white blinds, tall exotic plants and Swedish-meets-French countryside painted furniture you almost feel it would be a shame to call in after sunset. But come in for dinner and you’ll find yourself in an intimate and romantic setting perfect for that relaxed dinner to help you forget about bills, work and worries. Sail away on a culinary cruise through Europe as the menu takes you from Britain via France and in to Italy and beyond with plenty of local ingredients to keep the flavours fresh and delicious.

The layout of this hidden away restaurant is a bit quirky but the menu is appetising and the food excellent. The service was good as all the staff were very attentive. It is a little pricey but worth it .

We were a party of about 25 including 2 children. We were all catered for without a prior booking which was great.

Went with my boyfriend to this lovely venue that made you feel like you were abroad in the med!! Good service and friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Food was very good, we had the lamb and monkfish. Not the place to go if looking for a budget meal.

service was friendly and just right not too intrusive. Nice relaxed atmosphere. The building is old quirky and full of history. Homemade bread and some olives to enjoy whilst looking at the menu. My friend went for the early bird menu which is great value for money. I had fresh crab salad forgot to ask to not have coriander mayo... More

We choose this restaurant to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. Lovely ambiance, quaint and charming. It was obviously a busy night with 2 waitresses striving to look after all the tables so service was a little erratic. Our starters, Scallops for me and the cheese in pastry for my husband was delicious. Then came our main courses; oh dear what a... More

Booked a table for 6.45pm and took advantage of the early bird offer which makes this place unbelievable value. The whole place is maazing, a great dining experience. Best in Exeter? In my opinion, yes!

We have been trying to get a table at the Conservatory for a while now and booked enough in advance to get a table for our wedding anniversary. I had the brie and onion starter which was ok but was a bit bland, my husband had the duck which was obviously prepped and plated in advance as was all really... More

Wow what a find big thanks to reviewers on Tripadvisor. My husband and I wanted to celebrate our 25th Silver Wedding Anniversary somewhere really special.
