Great Food!

Myself and my partner ate here for lunch. It is beautifully located with a lovely clean interior. The atmosphere was very relaxed, peaceful and enjoyable. The menu was rather limited however the food was still delicious. Service was fabulous. Would come again.

We ate at the restaurant on a Sunday evening when only the table d'hote menu was available. The quality of the food was excellent, beautifully presented and the staff were friendly and attentive. The prices were set for either a two or three course meal and were excellent value

I came here last week on a girly day out. 4 of us sat at a nice window table and were very well looked after. To name drop I believe the waitress was called Ana, she was fun and accommodating and seemed to genuinely enjoy waiting on us and making sure our good vibes were maintained. We drank some bubbles... Very disappointed!! Main course - a small fussy array in the middle of plate, oblong portion of potato, 14 peas, 6 broad beans (yes we counted!)with small amount of celery and mushrooms. Two small pieces of raw and chewy lamb. My partner ordered cheese and biscuits (he was still hungry) I ordered a chocolate dessert that looked as if someone has... More

The set lunch menu here is sensational value for the quality of the food served. There's a choice of three dishes for each course. Each one we chose was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Service was professional without being aloof. After our first visit, this has now become our number one dining choice when in Exeter.

Who knew that ONLY £19.95 could buy you such a exquisite 3 course lunch by such a highly regarded Chef. This restaurant was recommended by "foodie" friends from Australia and when I visited Devon from Australia it was high on my to do list. Service was good without being pretentious but the food was sensational. My main of Trout was... More

We tried to book for 7.00pm but were told 6.30 or nothing - no explanation given and restaurant not busy and clients coming in up to 8.00pm. Bread charged at £1.50 a person(£9 for table of 6) and sparkling water at £4.65 a bottle. the food was good, well presented but we felt it was unnecessary to explain each individual... More

We were all agreed that the food was fantastic, £22 for a three course set lunch somewhere like this is extremely good value! My only gripe is that some of the staff were cold and unwelcoming however a young girl who served us was excellent.

Choice of starters and then very nice roast beef or pork or veggie option. I had the fish - sea trout on crushed lemon butter potatoes with spinach, creamed leeks and mussels with a frothy garlic foam. Stunning puddings as you would expect! £15 for a 2 course lunch - tasty!!

Would definitely go back. Love the fact these restaurants now do very reasonably priced set menus. Beautiful presentation and superb taste. Waiting staff could have been more pleasant.
