Just had to leave without food after waiting for more than an hour in total and over 40 minutes from ordering. Whilst it was busy there did not seem to be enough staff nor enough organisation. As we live in Dartmouth we have visited for Sunday breakfast many times because the food is consistently good and it is a shame... More

Ordered a ham and cheese sandwich which was enormous and filled to the brim with proper ham!! Large side salad came with it. Fresh home made banana milkshakes and a mocha were to die for. Ray our boston terrier also enjoyed the sausage that the waitress brought out for him

Our family love this place. The staff are so friendly & the food is amazing. Whats not to like! My favourite is a BLT on granary (its huge!), the cinnamon toast is pretty good too, as are the apricot croissants!!

Get yourself down here for breakfast and I guarantee you will not regret it. Food is all fresh, coffee is good (although I went for green tea first time) and the staff are lovely in every sense of the word. Best be early or reserve a table, otherwise forget getting a seat. I can't think of a better indicator of... More

Breakfast at cafe alfrescoes was a delight. We had booked a one night stay (2rooms)in the b&b after being refused a one night stay (for 2 rooms)at the cricket inn beesands ( they wanted us to stay two nights or nothing), so nothing it was, their loss too as they missed our business (guess what.......they had rooms spare which we... I dropped in for a coffee, forgetting I had used all my cash on the ferry, then the car park; they allowed me to pop off to the bank rather than pay the levy to use a card for a low value sale. I must look trust worthy! The coffee and pastry were great and the café felt comfortable/ Give... More

A great breakfast for us all. Quirky atmosphere and good service. Very accommodating for children. Recommended. (my eggs were hard- only critism!! They were quickly replaced!)

This is the first time we have been to Alf Resco's and couldnt fault the breakfast. We all had the full breakfast which was great and not at all greasy like some places. We loved the vast selection of preserves and the coffee is great. Looking forward to going again on our next visit to Dartmouth
