Been here for breakfast a couple of times now. Whilst the food and service were fine, they were nothing particularly special. This is especially true when compared with the breakfast I had at Dartmouth Castle Tearooms. There's nowhere better to have a morning coffee and breakfast. Read the paper in a lovely environment. We go every time we're in the area!

We have just moved to the area and are so chuffed we found this little gem. My daughter loves the milkshakes. We had creamy garlic mushrooms on toast and it was delicious. Its got a a snug, cool feeling to the place. Well worth a visit x

We visit Devon every pre-Christmas to charge batteries before the festive madness. Brisk beach walks with Labrador and family are followed by the treat of breakfast at this amazing find. Sadly it does nothing for the waistline except get the jeans stretching in readiness for turkey and pudding. This place gets its priorities right....you have hardly got your coats off... More

On arrival we saw Nick at front who sorted us out some drinks while we waited for rest of our party, in this time the manageress helped sort us out a table, asking people already there to move which we where very grateful off. Food was great as always, and the friendly staff make it better, even though we have... More

Good quality and range of ingredients, including white pudding (sometimes called hogs pudding). Natural and friendly experienced staff. A quirky/rustic ambiance which just adds to the experience. Very good coffee and good value overall.
