Three of us visited the Floating Bridge Inn for an evening meal on a weekday, and in the recent hot weather we sat on the roof terrace. It is necessary to order food as well as drinks at the bar and the bar staff were offhand even aggressive. It was not possible to open a tab, so each course or... More

The best pub lunch in our two weeks in the South West. Plenty of table space inside and outside and the food was great. Kids are well catered for and the staff were friendly and helpful. Well worth the 2 minute walk from the train ferry arrival point.

No one checked that our meals were ok, no one thanked us for coming. We had deliberately gone early and booked because we had two young children but no one made any effort at all. Such a... More

Dinner on the banks of the river in the evening sunshine, watching the Higher Ferry going back and forth couldn't be better. Great food, great beer, great location.

Stayed in Dartmouth all week and this pub/ restaurant has quickly become our family favourite. Age ranges from 4 to 41, we all had plenty of variety to choose from, both on the child's menu and adult menu, along with the specials. Fabulous fish (as you'd expect) alongside pub classics, all served to a high quality standard with fresh ingredients.... More
