Set alongside the beautiful river dart in the estuary at Dartmouth, The Floating Bridge is the latest addition to the Quality Inns portfolio. When on your Devon holiday, be sure to visit this quaint old fashioned pub. Enjoy the warm atmosphere in the bar or restaurant, or why not sit by the river and watch the boats in the Marina or the Higher Ferry transporting the cars to Kingswear. Relax with a glass of wine or Pimm's, why not try the fresh crab salad!

We sat in the sun overlooking the sparkling waters of the dart as sailboats glided by & the ferry came back and forth. An idyllic spot, serving great value, excellent food. A delicious Bouillabase, fabulous huge tasty Mussels & crusty bread were served piping hot and very quickly. Great chips too... read more

Went here in a party of 9 and not a single issue with any of the food at all even though we nearly all had something different. For me personally the calamari starter was terrific (not at all like the chewy rubber bands that one tends to get in Greece) and the rib steak one of the tastiest I've ever... More

Brilliant little lunch. We just wanted a beer and light lunch, so I order the small battered cod & chips. It came and there were 2 nice pieces of fish. Impressed for £5.50 certainly like to come back to order my lunch

Had a couple of great meals. The fish is good and fresh, the steak on the hot stone was great. The service was friendly and professional. Would certainly recommend and return.

We visited this venue after reading good reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The weather was glorious and people were making the most of sitting outside. We sat in the bar as I had my elderly Mother with me. The staff were very friendly and the food was superb. I had fish pie which was delicious. If you... More

Soft and succulent belly pork with a generous piece of crackling that crackled and crunched.Complemented by a delicate mushroom sauce and round of black pudding. All washed down with a pint of Amber ale. Seventh heaven! Had to have a stroll along the riverside promenade to come back down to earth.

What a Lovely Surprise! Well it was not the best of days but love Dartmouth in all weathers...........so we borded the steam Railway and off we chugged. After doing the shops and having coffee in the Slopping Deck we headed through the gardens and down to the river we had decided to lunch at the Dart Marine but suddenly the... More

Just enjoyed a roast beef and yorkshire pudding meal at The Floating Bridge Inn, Dartmouth. The food was hot and beautifully presented.

We are regular visitors to the Floating Bridge and always have good food. There is a nice atmosphere and great service. We went last night and I had one of the best meals I've ever had - mussels in chilli and cream sauce. DELICIOUS!!!

You can count on a good quality pub meal here with plenty of choice. However, it can be a bit squashed & noisy at busy times, which actually adds to the jolly atmosphere, so it's best to book. We have mainly been in poor weather, when it's nice & cosy but it's probably better then as, if you wanted to be... More
