While on holiday in September we ate here twice. Both occasions were pleasant and the restaurant was buzzing with quite a few other diners. Both meals were fine and service was as you would expect, the only gripe if any was the second visit we had to wait a while for the bill to be presented and ended up having... More

Was in Dartmouth for a week's holiday & chose the Floating Bridge for our first meal out. Wasn't disappointed, we had the gourmet burger and home made chilli, both very tasty and good sized portions, the chilli had very nice cheesy tortillas around the edge of the very large bowl. Service was very good. Price was average for the area,... More

Visited on a weekday lunchtime as a party of 5. Four real ales on hand pump at the bar which seemed good for a small establishment. However the otter ale tasted of vinegar and was sent straight back and the doom bar wasn't much better. Onto the food which was really really good. The home made steak and ale pie... More

Have eaten here a few times now and cannot fault the food or the staff, always friendly and the food is fantastic, we had a mixed grill and lasagna this time and both delicious only wish I had more room for a desert, maybe next time. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, lovely place would definitely recommend

we visited the floataing bridge and had a lovely meal, twice this year, you have to watch the seagulls if you decide to sit outside. the food is really good and good sensible portions. the view over the dart is one of the best and watching the ferries is very entertaining.

I ate at The Floating Bridge recently and can recommend it. Lovely food, good service and a good atmosphere too. I highly recommend the Lamb Shank (very tasty). Worth booking as it can get busy.

We live in Totnes only 20 minutes from the Floating Bridge. We love Dartmouth and now love the food in "The Bridge" as the batman referred to the place as! Visited with my partner on the weekend of the 3rd- we thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I actually had the chicken tikka (so I am surprised to see the... More

I visited the floating bridge last week with my husband, daughter and 2 friends. I do not usually write reviews but we were all so impressed with our visit to the Floating Bridge that I felt it necessary. The food choice, taste and overall presentation was divine and the staff made our visit a memorable one- making sure they looked... More
