Set alongside the beautiful river dart in the estuary at Dartmouth, The Floating Bridge is the latest addition to the Quality Inns portfolio. When on your Devon holiday, be sure to visit this quaint old fashioned pub. Enjoy the warm atmosphere in the bar or restaurant, or why not sit by the river and watch the boats in the Marina or the Higher Ferry transporting the cars to Kingswear. Relax with a glass of wine or Pimm's, why not try the fresh crab salad!

GREAT AND WELL WORTH THE VISIT!! GREAT STEAK!!

We have been coming here for the last few years and have always found it excellent regardless of the time of year - today was no exception. Friendly and efficient staff, really good food, freshly prepared and reasonably priced. Best mixed grill for miles!

We've never had anything other than delicious food in very generous portions. It's always fantastic value and the staff are incredibly hospitable and friendly. We love this place and its great views so much: it's an absolute must-do on each of our frequent visits to Dartmouth. The only question is how many times per week we come!!

Tough steaks, one completely inedible and returned. Onions on skewers almost raw. Rude manageress refused to accept our dissatisfaction. Argued. Wanted to offer vouchers but we explained we were not local. Unpleasant tussle and embarrassing. Eventually she reduced our bill by £5. Service slow. Avoid at all costs.

Fish restaurant right by the ferry in Dartmouth. The 'small' fish and chips was huge, lovely batter and I was unable to finish the meal. With a soft drink my bill was less than £8.

Came for a meal on sunday. The food was great although I feel a little pricey. Still a nice meal though.

Great location on the front so imagine it would be amazing in the summer sat outside. Underwhelmed sadly by the atmosphere and the food. We had the scallops to start and fish pie for mains. The portions were generous I must say, but somehow lacking in finesse. For two people it cost £56.00 and would have liked a little more... More

Ate here last Saturday and as well as a most excellent bouillabaisse we all had superb food (whitebait, ribs) along with good beer (jail ale) and service. An attractive roomy restaurant area with clean facilities.

our first stop in Dartmouth last Saturday, we were lucky to find a table in the bustling bar - fish and chips were excellent value, friendly atmosphere at very good prices.

We love it here sitting outside watching the ferry and the world go by but we have also eaten out there in the evening and the food is womderful. My husband had the biggest fish dish I have ever seen and he ate every bit. Well worth a visit.
