Lovely Pub

Just a nice quaint English seaside pub that ticked all the boxes. Handy location for us at the bottom of the steps and pre walk up treat :)

My favourite pub in Dartmouth. Lovely place for a beer, can't comment on the food as I haven't eaten here but a great drinking pub.

Sadly, when we visited this place some months ago, it was not at all the pub we remembered. We learned it was under new management and, in our opinion, not for the better. Whilst there were still a number of real ales on offer the menu had been altered quite substantially. As a result we did not bother to eat... More

Returned to Dartmouth for the first time in 50 years. Old Cherub is a great old world pub serving real ale in friendly and comfortable surroundings. If you like pubs as they used to be, serving great beer at reasonable prices, this must be the place.

Good ales and full of 'odd locals' (Great fun) Free WiFi. Meals upstairs As the toilets are upstairs (steep), not good for a lot of people.

Squeezed in for Christmas Day and truly enjoyed the food - the beef was delicious and the whole pub, atmospheric especially during the festive period, was a delight.

Found this lovely inn while trying to escape the rain. Bijou, quaint, atmospheric and a good pint too. Lot of history so get yourself in there if you visit Dartmouth

Visited late lunchtime, received an excellent welcome and its a great place to appreciate the history of what may be Dartmouths oldest building. Note the kitchen closed at 2.00pm sharp so we were unable to take lunch. Would return for drinks on any future visit to Dartmouth.

Friendly people. Great atmosphere in pub. Not fine dining but good pub food. We were the only people in dining area on Friday night.
