Four of us ate here on a Saturday night. While we all enjoyed our food in terms of taste, presentation and ingredients, we were less than impressed with the service. On arriving at the hotel you’re left to drift through the building with no clear indication of where the restaurant is, and on finding the right place a few staff... More

Firstly, may I say that I found the concierge at this hotel to be one of the best I've ever encountered - he clearly took pride in his work and was an absolute delight. A credit to the hotel! My friend and I had lunch at this hotel - not the first time, but the first since it's re-furb. Service... More

We dined here last week,it was absolutely awful! It has really gone down hill from last year. I had Bruchetta with tomatoes and mozzerella cheese, terrible, tasted like a cold piece of toast with stone cold chopped tomatoes and a layer of solid mozzerella! i only had two mouthfuls and then complained. They took the price of the starter off... More

Ate here for lunch today, we've been staying in one of the Dart Marina apartments. I had the fish and chips, my companion the salmon. For dessert, the blackcurrant pannacotta. All excellent, the chips especially. Around £55 for two courses and drinks. Despite the lukewarm TA reviews, I would recommend. Lovely setting, friendly staff, one of whom escorted me to... More

We ate in the restaurant on the first night of a 3 night stay. We both had the crab and asparagus starter which was totally bland. The menu was very limied so we followed with a fillet steak each, thinking it was a safe choice, even if it was an £8 supplement each. I asked for rare but it was... More

We have stayed and dined at the Dart Marina for many years in all its incarnations! We are now lucky enough to live close by and chose to have Sunday Lunch their with friends in the re-vamped restaurant. Whilst the restaurant manager was warm and welcoming, other staff were mostly cheerless. The location of the restaurant and view is lovely... More

Having seen the reviews on Trip Advisor I thought I might be slightly disappointed but it was the only menu (on a sunday) that really interested me. The menu, portions and price I found a bit pretentious. The pretentious would have turned to fine dining if the flavours were there but unfortunately they weren't. The starters and mains lacked flavour,... More

The service here is never good, it's painstakingly SLOW. It's like pulling teeth getting a drink. They have just done re-furb on restaurant, but true to form, or lack of, they are not opening it for lunches, ever, as they can't seem to figure out how to turn over a large restaurant after breakfast. This is prime location, riverside and... More

We had dinner with a group of family and friends. Pre dinner welcome was very good and the meal itself was ample and tasty. The restaurant makes an effort to provide vegetarians with a variety of options - a welcome change from goat's cheese or risotto or nothing that one experiences in many restaurants. Service was excellent; prompt and attentive... More
