On a recent weekend away , we decided to visit Clovelly as my husband had never been there, by the time we walked down the cobbled steps we felt rather hungry and called in at the tea rooms, I had been there before many years ago. It was a lovely afternoon last Sunday warm enough to sit in the outside... More

Lovely cottage tea room and our food was enjoyable. Prawn baguette was lovely and fresh and my wife had the vegetarian option which she thoroughly enjoyed(as did my son). Reasonably priced too. Ate outside where the view was breathtaking.

We went to Clovelly on a beautiful October day, sunshine, still, warm and perfect, we loved our wander through this lovely village and decided to eat lunch in the Cottage tea rooms. We both had a vegetarian pie, it was terrible and probably microwaved, salad was iceberg lettuce and a scattering of onion, and worst of all our cold drinks... More

Whilst visiting clovelly myself and my family including my one year old son and our two dogs stopped for our lunch at this tea rooms. After finding an outdoor table and settling myself down to feed my son whilst my mother in law ordered our food I was abruptly met by a grey haired lady who worked there telling me... More

Liked location especially table sharing policy- it was a friendly experience. Staff hospitable. Only drinks, did not eat.

The cream tea here was really lovely, nice freshly baked scones and plentiful on the jam and cream. They have beautiful quirky little tea pots (see reviewers photos) and inside the tea room is quaint and in keeping with all that is old in Clovelly. We did not try any of the meals but it is helpful that they had... More

This little eatery has a very traditional feel, with old wooden tables and local artist pieces on the walls. The food was good quality and fresh, with a huge portion for the Farmer's Lunch and a tiny plate for the daily special Crab Sandwich. Gluten free option was available though my lactose intolerance confused the staff slightly.
