Nice cream tea stunning views

Stopped here for a cream tea on our way back up the hill. Cream tea was a fair price and of good quality. Would recommend for a well earned stop .

On a hot day what's better than to sit outside with a traditional English tea and look out at the beautiful views across the harbour. Tasty food and a good service even on a busy day.

Sat outside with the dog and kids. The staff gave us a nice welcome when I went inside to order our food. The food, baggettes and sandwiches, was nothing special but it was a nice spot to eat at.

With our interest piqued by the not inexpensive crab sandwich touted as " Best in the West"- see photograph. We unfortunately decided to enter this establishment. Sitting down at one of the (dirty) tables we perused the menu - the most interesting thing of note being no less than five "do's and don't' notices by the redoubtable Pauline - I... More

We visited on a quiet Saturday in early October. Evidently the end of the season. Not being extremely hungry we agreed to share the hoggity pie and a cream tea. Firstly there were not any high chairs for our 8 month old, at least not outside (we weren't allowed inside with our dogs, which is fair and I can totally... More

We were welcomed by friendly staff and enjoyed a well-deserved and generously sized cream tea on our walk back up the hill.

Lovely little pit stop approximately half way down through the village. At 85 Jack needed a break to his mountaineering efforts! And at 55 and 51 we needed no excuse to join him. Sitting outside enjoying the great views is a treat as are the cream teas and other nice snacks. The staff are friendly and efficient and the prices... More
