Lovely scones and Homity Pie

Visited here for a light lunch. Views are amazing and food very good. The Homity pie was very tasty and the scones were the best we've had. lovely place to visit on a sunny day.

On a slow saunter into the village we came across this delightful little cafe hidden among the cobbles we didn't want a lot but opinions changed when we went in, a wide variety of choices even for a non gluten members of staff were friendly and knowledgeable.recommend the cream tea.

We visited clovelly mid June and was re visited after having a lovely visit last year. We did eat in the tea rooms last year and did have a sour visit previously due to the rudeness last year from the staff but thought we would give the tea rooms the benefit of the doubt and try it again. Well I... More

A good stopping point on the walk back up the hill in the beautiful Clovelly, this charming tea room offers reasonably value for money (£12 for lunch for two of us), and wonderful scones. The cucumber sandwich that came as part of the Ladies' Lunch was ok (I personally prefer them on crustless bread with chive/cream cheese instead of butter,... More

A lovely welcome with lots of smiles even though we were 4 adults and 6 children, virtually filling this little tea room. There was room outside for others but it wasn't a very warm day. The adults all had the gentleman's cream tea, which consisted of a salmon and cucumber sandwich, a generous pot of tea and a light, fluffy,... More

Afternoon tea here was well received. The crab sandwiches were very tasty although given the location I was somewhat surprised at the price - the crab didn't have far to come! Our pot of tea seemed bottomless and it was lovely to sit in the sunshine in the garden terrace sipping tea. Recommended.

Afternoon tea was delicious here! Great price too. Staff seemed a little stressed. I know it's a busy place but after working in coffee shops myself in the past ( as pot wash up to assistant manager) I know there is still a balance of customer service vs busy. Even if they just stopped to chat about the floods of... More

Are provided in this little tea room, an oasis in this overpriced village, a great pot of tea with freshly baked scones strawberry jam and clotted cream, this is what memories are made of, pleasant service friendly staff with terrific views of this quaint harbour and cove.

We stopped for coffee, and we are so used to chain coffee shops we asked for latte, which they do not do, so we settled on a pot of tea and a cafetiere of coffee, which were both great and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and helpful. This tea room is a great part of the experience of visiting... More
