Lovely location to people watch over a pint

Lovely place to sit, sup and sunbathe whilst watching the world go by. Good beer, nice outside seating and a great place to watch the world go by.

On holiday in Cornwall, took the ferry from Falmouth to st. Mawes where after a stroll we went to the Victory inn. The menu was v.good also the specials board if you like sea food, but the Sunday roast for under £7 was superb value. Quaint surroundings made for a really good lunchtime with a nice drink. There is a... More

Dog friendly pub that has specials on food during the week. Excellent fish and chips, food prices not too bad for St Mawes.

We visited recently for an early evening meal. We had seen the place previously and the specials on the menu looked promising. We went in and were a little disappointed with the atmosphere - ok it's a pub, but the candle holders on the tables were filthy as were the condiment bottles! The whole place looked as if it needed... More

First visit to The Victory. Wanted more than the coffee shops could offer.I had Cod and chips and J had a roast lamb dinner. All good and served with a smile. Though busy the service was quick enough. We chose to sit upstairs and then had a drink on the verandah as it was a warm day. Will definitley return.

Our second visit here and unlike the first, this was not a success. It was a Thursday, which is two curries for £8.95 each. I started with a couple of pints of Doombar and asked to be shown to our table. We were shown upstairs into a long un-inviting room with no atmosphere. Leading of from it was a balcony... More
