I too had the stuffed peppers which were amazing. The others in our group had the fish and chips which looked good. Lovely pub with lots of atmosphere. Service good and great value for money. Highly recommended.

Cosy, tasty tasty food. I would recommend the stuffed peppers for veggies and the others enjoyed their beef burgers with blue cheese enormously. The cod is apparently the best texture too! Servers lovely (genuinely), helpful and prompt. Only thing I'd say... Watch out for how much the alcohol costs here, one round with 2 alcoholic drinks between 5 of us... More

Our party of five sat upstairs. Plenty of space between us and our neighbours, an interesting menu, good food and staff who operated as a team and really seemed to enjoy what they did. The timing of the courses worked well for us, the descriptions of various dishes we asked about were accurate and entertaining. A fun evening. Recommended.

Went there on our last night and had a lovely meal at a very reasonable price. The weather was good so we chose to sit outside on the terrace

We went here on the Friday as heard they do a 2 for £12 special on the fish and chips. Well this is one of the best we have ever had. Pub was excellent - let us take the dog in and had a good selection of beers. Will definitely be going back there again when we are down that... More

We just went in there for a couple of drinks. The place was ok and the service was average. There seemed to be quite a few locals in there who were a bit lively at times, so not somewhere to go if you fancy a quiet drink.

Good local pub just 50yds from the harbour, nice range of draft beers and decent food to suit most tastes. There is also room upstairs to dine and a small but lovely roof terrace with views over the harbour. Friendly service and a warm welcome.

We found this restaurant on our last night, it was wet so we didnt expect to get a table inside on a Friday night. The staff are friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble to provide details of the specials. I went for the pan fried Brill which was nicely flavoured in thyme butter with warm beetroot and potato salad.... More

However, as we never managed to get served I can't! Went in on a weekday lunchtime when it wasn't busy, we found a table & sat down with a menu. I went to the bar & stood there for at least 10 minutes being completely ignored by a woman & a chap, she spent that time talking to various people... More

We have just returned from a 7 night stay in St Mawes. We found the Victory Inn on our second night and ate there for the rest of our stay. We tried a lot of fish dishes which are absolutely delicious and also the most amazing lambs liver with horseradish mash. Just ask for salad or veg to balance the... More
