Description: The Bean Inn was born in 2003 and its reputation has grown steadily...
The Bean Inn was born in 2003 and its reputation has grown steadily throughout the years. The restaurant is a popular choice with both tourists and locals and offers a warm intimate setting spread over 3 small dining rooms displaying local art. Our aim in the restaurant is to offer you some of the tastiest vegetarian and vegan dishes from around the world. Bringing you the best flavours means using the best quality ingredients. We therefore use local, organic and seasonal produce whenever possible. We are members of the Vegetarian Society's Food & Drinks Guild. This means that all of the ingredients that we use have been approved by The Vegetarian Society.

I found this very difficult to rate and if not for my wife's input would have given it only 3*. Firstly we had dinner. I thought the food was ok , nothing better but my wife thought it was good. However the service was laughable - waiting 30 minutes for a cheese course ! The restaurant also provided veggie breakfasts... More

I visited The Bean Inn restaurant twice on my holiday last week, because the food was so delicious! The staff were extremely friendly, inviting and accommodating for my food requirements (dairy and gluten free). The Bean Inn had a lovely atmosphere and I would highly recommend it! I'm definitely going back when I return to Cornwall.

Delighted to find this veggie restaurant minutes from our hotel, and as I live round the corner from an award winning vegetarian restaurant, it had a lot to live up to - which it did. Grilled halloumi and sweet potato wedges to start was the "posh veggie fish and chips" that I had been looking for all trip, and the... More

The menu was impressive, I wanted to sample everything! Every dish could easily be adapted for vegans. The starter was amazing, the main was equally as good and the dessert was incredible. We had a vegan, vegetarian and non vegetarian in our party and all were delighted at the meal. The restaurant itself was full of character, warm and welcoming.... More

Having read the trip advisor reviews ( all of which were very positive) I decided to book this restaurant as a treat for my parents who are both vegetarian. We were a group of six which included a toddler and infant. The table we were seated at was ideal as it was in an alcove with plenty of room around... More

Good quality food, cooked to order from a smallish menu but with good choices. Friendly and efficient service and good value for money.

We had visited here last year and looked forward to returning but are sorry to say we were disappointed. The food was nice but a visit to a restaurant is more than just about the food. When we booked by phone we were asked not to park in the parking spaces for this establishment as they are for B&B guests... More
