Great veggie/vegan menu!

I was treated to a meal at The Bean Inn for my birthday and went along with veggie/vegan family, I was not disappointed at all! So nice to know that everything on the menu is veggie, and nothing has been stirred with a meaty spoon or the stocks not veggie etc, etc!! The Waitress found out it was... read more

They serve a simple pasta so my three year old was happy!!! Great veg food full of flavour slight hiccup with my halloumi starter which was sorted straight away. Was great not to be the minority on the menu. As we had kids with us and the room we were in was so small it felt like we had to... More

Although there is plenty of choice, the food is not anything to get excited about. Service is really slow and everybody can hear each others conversations as this is basically a house turned into a restaurant, so living rooms are used for dining in. The waitress did not recommend anything, and it took an hour to receive our main meal... More

Have just walked a week of the SWCP, and we voted this the best restaurant of the lot. Slightly quirky, as it is the ground floor of a house/B&B. However the food was really excellent, and tasty vegetarian dishes. Service was attentive and the chef came out for a chat at the end. Wine list had some good bottles on... More

We only went here because our first choice of restaurant was fully booked and, my god, I am so pleased we did. The food was exquisite- in both presentation and taste. The menu is designed to make the vegetarian dishes vegan if required but to be honest most dishes were vegan anyway. Service was good. I can't wait to go... More

We had a lovely meal here while on holiday in st ives. Its always hard to find good vegetarian options in most restaurants. My better half being a vegetarian always gets a raw deal when we go out to Non-veggie restaurants, so we were pleased to find this little gem.

very nice, well cooked food. Moroccan casserole was tasty but the nut loaf could have been more loaf and less vegetables! Some bread would have been good to soak up juices from the asparagus. Nice ambience and good service but not buzzy. Good to get out if town and can walk from Carbis Bay.

I am a vegetarian but my friends are not. This place was such a delight with the eccentric menu, simple dishes and locally sourced produce. I had never in my life (I am a foodie) had beetroot, bramley and dill soup, more so it tasted gorgeous. We had 4 starters and mains and it only amounted upto 70 pounds. The... More

Excellent friendly service and food that is absolutely to die for. Even our non vegetarian friends were impressed with the wonderful tasty dishes. I would encourage any vegetarians to make this a must visit restaurant if you're in St. Ives.

This was our first visit to The Bean and to a vegetarian restaurant for that matter. My husband is not a veggie but he loved the delicious food as did I. It was great to look at a menu and know that everything was ok to eat. The food was very flavoursome, very well presented and the waitress was helpful... More
