Nice food, charming atmosphere

If you can't subsist on a diet of fish & chips and pizza, this is the place. A charming atmosphere and nice food. The dishes could be improved with a little more spices and taste, but overall, the place is very good.

Well presented delicious vegetarian food served in a quirky restaurant. Really lovely beetroot soup and fresh imaginative salads. So good to actually find a restaurant not only catering for veggies but pleasing meat eaters like my husband! The service was good and the price reasonable, will come again.

Lovely menu, just right, plenty of choice but not so much that it becomes impossible to choose. My halloumi and harrissa starter and dhal main were some of the tastiest dishes I had all holiday. The service was very good, very pleasant staff. The place itself is cute, but very small so you do have to mind your conversation! I'd... More

I absolutely loved the Bean Inn at my first visit last year. So, I went back this summer. I thought the bread I had for my starter was a bit dry but everything else was very good. Creative menu, good presentation, friendly service. Looking forward to go back.

This is a really fantastic restaurant! We went because one of our party was vegetarian but all of us felt this was the best meal of our holiday. The starters were excellent especially the trio of hummus and pitta bread and the halloumi with harissa. For mains the vegetable casserole with couscous was moreish and the potato cake stuffed with... More

The food was delicious and the staff were very helpful and friendly. My daughter had the beetroot soup and it was the nicest soup she has ever had - we are going to try and re-create it at home. We had grilled haloumi and sweet potato chips and the chips were stuffed with a very tasty sauce that oozed out... More

One of our Cornish treats. Delicious food, good wine, nice atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. One can't ask for more. They even offered my friend to make her a special sugar free dessert as long as she let them know upon booking next time. Will definitely be back when in Cornwall again.

My partner and I visited Cornwall for the first time a few weeks ago. I was told to make sure to visit The Bean Inn while I was there. So glad we did. The day we decided to go for food was very last minute and when we got there they were very busy, but the lovely waitress still found... More

The food here is some of the best vegan food we've eaten in Cornwall. It's very creative, fresh and extremely tasty. We enjoyed the cashew and brazil nut loaf roast dinner and the Moroccan Vegetable and Chick Pea Chermoula Casserole. We're just sorry we didn't leave room for dessert! The atmosphere is also very lovely and romantic with candles on... More

Amazingly tasty, colourful and freshly cooked food. The ambience is chilled and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Would definitely recommend. We loved it and stayed at the B&B above and we aren't even vegetarian. Would defiantly visit again.
