Great place to sit after dinner

After we've had our 5 course meal, we decided to have our evening tea, over look to the beach and watch the sunset. Priceless!

Been in Cornwall travelling around and on this day it was miserable. Really windy and raining. We were in St Ives and I looked at the map and suggested that we try Carbis Bay as it looked more sheltered in places. As we drove down to the car park, we saw this hotel in front if us and thought to... More

Well worth the walk to the hotel to sample their Cornish tea, the staff went out of their way to look after your requirements.

I had the great good fortune to stop here for refreshment near the midway point of an unbelievably beautiful walk from Lelant to St. Ives on the Coast Path. It takes you right to the door of a very attractive beachside hotel. Since I was in hiking attire, I asked if I was suitably dressed for the conservatory and bar... More

Delicious mouth watering menus changed daily very difficult to criticise. Good service and tables can be booked advance. Beautiful views across the bay with Godrevy lighthouse flashing in the distance as it gets dark. Beautiful.

This a a great place to have coffee and relax in style. The view over the bay is fabulous and the ambiance is great- think potted palms, comfortable chairs and a vast conservatory on top of a cliff with views over sub-tropical gardens to the sea. For £3.50 you get a large cafetiere, hot milk, and not just a ilttle... More

we just went there for a drink in the conservatory, it was dirty a and lots of spider webs in the top of the conservatory. The floor was dirty and the personel looked like they worked in a 2 star hotel. the location is great and the garden nice. but if want to be a 4 star hotel it has... More

We went here on a nice sunny day for a couple of bar drinks and a cream tea. The views are incredible and we sat outside the conservatory which is basically onto the beach at Carbis Bay. A wedding was taking place but we were still made very welcome as non residents. The cream tea was lovely and considering the... More

Lots of options, club sandwich and high tea were a few of our favourites. Great wine and in the most beautiful setting.
