Great little cafe, friendly staff and an excellent cream tea - scones to die for - a real gem! A bit off the beaten track behind the harbour but well worth a visit.

Found this place by accident really and popped in for a spot of lunch. The salads were very nice and very filling and the cream tea scone was delicious. A rather snug little cafe but very nicely done and quaint. Unfortunately, nobody had any room left to try any of the fabulous looking cakes on the counter but never mind,... More

Olives is quite small yet with ample room at the tables, The owner has the right idea for a short stop, stunning tarts and cakes, all home made and in a league of their own. We had to go back more than once so we could try them all, the Lemon Merangue Pie was about the best we have ever... More

The owner/manager is very pleasent, helpful and nice person. Staff were also friendly and helpful. Lovely little place situated in Island Square. The scones were devine & the sandwhiches were lovely, great value - everything tasted so fresh too!! Would certainly recommend a visit.

After wandering around St Ives and museums we were much in need for tea and cake. We stumbled across Olives by chance. It was lovely and the best (and prettiest) carrot cake and tea. Well worth a visit.

A delightful little cafe in a peaceful location just off the Harbour with friendly staff, lovely indoor and outdoor seating and by far the best homemade scones we have ever tasted! Make sure you don't leave St Ives until you have visited Olives Cafe! See you next visit.

Seems to be one of those places where you feel they are doing you a favour, waited 10 minutes to order, girl in back busy tapping away on her mobile, waitress brought drinks over without a word - why are good manners so difficult for some people, food looked nice but we decided to go somewhere more pleasant instead.

Popped on for a light lunch as an escape from the crowded harbour front at St Ives. We has our two children (aged 8 &9) with us and we opted for quiche and tomato and basil soup. Food done well and served efficiently, despite the demands of a large party of non-English speaking tourists sat next to us. Rather snug... More
