What a lovely little tearoom,my wife had a crab sandwich with salad garnish and I had a three cheese ploughman's. Both were beautifully presented by really friendly staff and the fact it was so busy on a November weekend speaks volumes. The cream teas are excellent and looking through the menu it all looks good, really lovely place

I had "Mackerel on toasted sourdough bread with Salsa Verdi" off the specials board. It was simply superb. The flavours and textures were fabulous. The salad was delicious, the mackerel was delightful. This was a very simple but fabulous dish. My wife had Crab & Saffron Tarte. She was equally delighted with it. It's a shame we visited on the... Following the very positive reviews on trip advisor, my partner and I decided to stop by for Cream Tea. It was sensational!! We each had two large warm scones with a pot of strawberry jam and another of clotted cream. I was very full afterwards but loved every bite. The choices of tea were excellent, recommend the Jasmine! We also... More

We read online they had gluten free scones for afternoon tea so of course we had to scope it out. They were amazing!! So fresh and not too dry and crumbly like most gf pastries. We each ordered tea with scones however we were still full from the last time we ate. The scones are big. We could have easily... More

I visited here with a friend on a very hot day in the summer. We ate outside and the food was delicious. The staff were great and always smiling, they seemed to be enjoying it as much as the customers. Nothing was too much trouble x A definite visit when I back in st Ives for a lazy lunch.

Two lovely warm scones, clotted cream and jam with a super pot of tea (enough for two people to have two cups each). In Cornwall is it jam first or cream? Apologies for any outrage caused if anyone saw me get it wrong. Top notch cream tea. Very good service. Happy customers. Thank you.

We've been here twice so far this week for afternoon tea and we'll definitely be back again before we go home. Never knew gluten-free could be so tasty (just trying it out). Friendly service, generous portions, reasonable prices, clean loo (shame there's only one) great location (least crowded end of the harbour front).

We called in to The Tea Room last week whilst on a family holiday. My mum is Coeliac and often feels she misses out, not at the tea room. They offered many gluten free options including pasty and cream tea. Mum opted for the cream tea and thoroughly enjoyed. I doubt it was quite as good as the regular version,... More

Nice selection of unusual dishes and very good service. The open-faced Cornwall sardine sandwich was excellent. It is situated in a small store-front directly on the harbor/beach.
