we went out for our anniversary, never been to St Ives so thought we'd try it- was a lovely day. sadly park and ride was grossly expensive and a long way - £6 a day and £1 each, each way, adds up to a tenner just to park the car, so we opted for a very short hour or 2... More

Title says it all. Fabulous view, nice staff, great artwork on the walls, and most importantly of all, fab food. I only had lunch here (me, tasty crab sandwich, OH had Cornish cheese platter) but I would like to try dinner here too, but alas ran out of time.

Stopped here in the afternoon, very popular. We passed by several times during our day and the place was always full so left it until we fancied a mid afternoon drink. Ordered a pot of tea for 2, this was made with loose leaf tea, brewed and strained before being brought to the table and two slices of coffee and... More

Lunch here was fabulous. All freshly made with fresh ingredients. The crab salad was perfect for me, plenty of crab which hadn't been messed about with by mayo etc. The other girls enjoyed haddock quiche and various salads. Busy place, no bookings at least at lunch time. Great view, polite service and excellent grub.

We went here and had an absolutely gorgeous cream tea - gluten free as I can't eat gluten. Very friendly, great service and pretty resonable. We were just sad it shut early as we wanted to come back for more food! St Ives is very good at catering for gluten free generally too.

I was convinced that one of the owners was Gluten Free as the quality of the food was so good, but I was wrong, just a fantastic cook! A beautiful view over the harbour and a lovely friendly atmosphere, they we're very busy but did not hassle if you wanted to linger for a bit. I strongly recommend.

After reading the reviews for this place it was my first port of call after dumping my bags at the B&B and after a 4 hour drive I was famished! Got there at 11.30am so me and my husband ordered a cuppa while looking at the menu at our leisure. The waitress came over to take our orders but as... More

Visited st Ives last week and needed a decent lunch with the family. Always a bit difficult as mother in law is a coeliac. Not everywhere understands this. Walked in to the tea rooms and they couldn't have done more to help her. Lots of choices and variety. Gluten free cream tea made her smile all day. Keep it up... More

Had another lovely lunch here on the last day of our hol. Staff were helpful and friendly, despite being rushed off their feet. The food was fresh and very tasty. Got 2 pieces of the raspberry flapjack to go - gutted I have to wait 8 weeks (when I next visit St Ives) to eat more!!
