Great location lovely food!

We love this place, from a cup of very good tea and cake or lunch the choice is great. Staff are lovely, place can be very busy in summer but worth the wait. The location means that this place would be busy regardless but that would be a diservice to the amazing homemade food they serve. Fresh... read more

We come here all the time when in St Ives. The food is great the guy's who run the place are cool. You never feel rushed even when they are busy. Great service, quality food and drink.

Friday night meal end of holiday. What a treat. Nicest meal we have had in a long time. Friendly, clean, menu exciting and original. I had the scallops and Hake. My husband had the lamb and cheesecake. Now you know who has a sweetooth!! Try and you won't be disappointed.

My wife and i popped in here during our visit to St Ives and enjoyed an excellent cream tea. The Tea Room was reasonably busy and seating was available inside (and as it was sunny but breezy outside too). We had a lovely table tucked in the corner of the window with a fabulous view of the harbour. The restaurant... More

Visited with my wife on a a Valentines Day trip to St Ives. We were firstly pleased to see that all the wheat-based items were also availble in gluten-free. I had the fish pate with toasted soda bread and my wife had a gluten-free smoked haddock and gruyere tart. Lots of attention to detail, quality salad dressing and elegantly served.... More

A first! We were so lucky to not only experience a gluten free cornish cream tea but also a gluten free homity pie. Service excellent and staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Beautiful location looking out over sandy beach and glistening sea. H & K from Kent.

The gluten free menu options at The Tea Room is very extensive, there is a gluten free option for almost everything on the menu. The service and quality of the food is very good and consistent as we have been there on several occasions and will certainly return again

Beautiful cream tea on a windy afternoon in February. The place was pretty busy when we arrived, which says something as it was a Wednesday afternoon out of season and The Tea Room is tucked at the top of the Wharf, not right in the middle of the town centre. The view is beautiful, looking out over the harbour, but... More

We came for the Cream Tea and we loved it! Service was nice and friendly. They served Tregothnan tea and we ended up buying some to take home. The decor was very pleasant. Cosy.

Love this place, our favourite is the platters, we share the cheese one usually. But had the pate one too and couldn't eat them both. I would commend them on keeping their produce local and fresh, something that some places claim but fail to achieve.
