Very nice place

Very good value food, good selection on menu, very friendly and helpful staff - great beer. This is a clean and very tasteful place on the main sea front so the view is great, of the harbour.

Beautiful location serving beautiful food. Had a lovely afternoon here after a long walk around St Ives. We came here late February so were looking for something warming and big. We entered and were greeted by extremely friendly staff who told us to pick a table and order food at the bar when we were ready. I chose the Steak... More

Great value carvery. Everything was very tasty, there was a choice of potatoes and a great selection of well presented delicious veg. The pub was very busy but the staff coped well and were very helpful and friendly.

Whilst enjoying a mid-week break in St.Ives we decided to try this pub again and what a transformation. It has been re-furbished to a high standard with modern tables/chairs,brightly decorated with subdued lighting. The bar is a great improvement and a lovely log fire in the eating area. The Steak/ale pie was delicious with ample portions so we could not manage a dessert.The... As title says, specials had all sold out so 2 sea bass and 2 pies it was.....4 empty plates. Well cooked pub grub with reasonable prices, quick and friendly service too.

Wandering through the crowded streets of St. Ives, we came across an oasis -- a street-level, waterfront establishment that is an interesting combination of pub and restaurant specializing in seafood and local brews. It's a large space with a low ceiling, a bar at the back, and a view of the inner harbour. It feels more like a restaurant than... More

Our third visit! Friendly greeting on arrival and lucky enough to get a recently vacated table by the window. Kids well looked after, and when they're happy, we're happy! Gorgeous bowl gigantic mussels for me, and pancakes for pud for the kids as it was pancake day! Look forward to returning in the summer.

Was in St.Ives with my sister on a short break and found the Lifeboat Inn on our first stroll along the harbour. As soon as we walked the staff were straight there to help and although it was busy as carvery was on we were seated within 10 mins. I cannot fault the food at all was delicious and the... More

My partner and I stopped off for a spot of lunch on Sunday. The pub itself was bussling and extremely busy. The rugby was playing on the tvs and the atmosphere was buzzing, There was a mix of eaters and drinkers and this made it a pleasant atmosphere. The landlady/GM served us and she was extremely polite and pleasant. We... More

Six of us had a meal at the Lifeboat on Saturday evening. The place was pleasantly full and the atmosphere was nice, not too loud so you could carry on a conversation with each other. We all chose different things and all thoroughly enjoyed our meal and including drinks and two huge starters to share the bill was £106 which... More
