Amazing place to visit

We have visited this place on 3 different occasions over a number or years. I am particular person with food and customer service, and I have to say food was great! The customer service was the best I have ever experience. I would highly recommend to anyone with a family. Welcoming staff who can... read more

A smart pub with a good varied menu; helpful friendly staff and a good selection of real ales and lagers. Always nice to go to a pub that sells a pint of something other than Stella and Fosters! Good for families, plenty of space for pushchairs and the staff bring highchairs to you. Loads of seating, much of which has... More

Visited with family, lovely environment and a good menu reasonably. Not a massive choice but enough to provide variety and a specials board; and the veggie option wasn't the usual default offering. Very prompt service, very friendly staff, so we were happy customers and would look to return.

Called in for brunch, lovely food but we were so pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the excellent customer service. Also great surroundings, harbour view and log fire!

Friendly, quick and fab service from beginning to end. All of our meals were hot & delicious - highly recommend the Fish Pie, seabass, veg chili & chicken teriyaki - we all enjoyed our meals. Second visit here - the first visit was as a couple and was so good we went back with a group. First visit we had... More

Looked for somewhere for lunch and found this delightful place. Such friendly helpful staff. We chose to have the 'From the ocean sharing platter'. My goodness what a really great selection, perfectly cooked. What a choice and where to start, well the Whitebait maybe followed by scampi, then smoked salmon and so it went on. Best meal in a long... More

Had a couple of nights in St. Ives and whilst walking around trying to decide where to eat, decided to call in for a drink. Had a look at the menu and thought we'd give it a go. So glad we did. I chose 2 starters for my meal, the chicken satay and garlic mushrooms. The chicken was delicious, so... More

Initially we thought that The Lifeboat Inn would be a typical brewery owned pub serving basic food, but we gave it a go after reading reviews on here. We're pleased we did! We had lovely fish and chips and nice ales. All the staff were super friendly and attentive. They had the footie on in the bar and several families... More
