We went here on advice of others and it was well worth it. The food abd range of food served is amazing. The drinks are abit expensive but not much more than any other pub. I would highly recommend coming for some food!

Visited yesterday for food as it looked very welcoming ....pleasant atmosphere with several tables full with people eating . Ordered our drinks first whilst deciding on what to eat , hubby came back with them 2 pints , 1 half cidar , 1 lime and soda and a orange juice and lemonade .We thought we had been overcharged as the... Visited this pub last year and really enjoyed the food so came back. The food was okay but the pie had obviously been reheated in a microwave making the pastry a little hard. However it was packed with meat and was tasty as was the gravy. The chips were a different matter. They were truly awful. Some were hard, some... More

This was a bit like a Wetherspoons pub, the staff were great the food was your average pub grub, not good but certainly not bad.

Our first visit to the lifeboat but the food was so good we came back a second time during our stay in st Ives. Recommend the chicken pie, chicken teriyaki or the beef burger which were all delicious. Only word of caution - the pub can get very busy especially at weekends so be prepared for a wait ( which... Popped in for lunch, had local mussels and a pint of Rattler, Amazing. The people on the next table had the dressed crab and said it was amazing too.

It's a seaside pub but my wife and I have just had the best Sunday carvery that we have ever had instead of going for sea food. The food and service was super and would recommend this to anyone.

We had a nice meal here. Was a busy sunny day so we needed to wait a while for the table but that's to be expected as we didn't book. Was a little pricy for what you got but the food was good regardless. I would probably eat here again but i wouldn't rush back
