Still Brilliant

3rd time visiting the Cornish Deli in 3 consecutive years. Still one of the best places for a hearty, freshly cooked lunch. It's a busy, cosy little place. Little bit of a wait for food but that's ok as the food is so good. Great specials board, had lovely burger with tasty ground beef and pulled... read more

Today my wife and I had lunch at The Cornish Deli. After a warm welcome we discovered the offered cornish cheeses so we decided to take a cheese board. Owner Mark was so kind to give us samples of six different ones and they all tasted delicious. Also the chutneys on the board were mouthwatering good. This place is cosy,... More

This is a gem of cafe. Small but beautiful. Well prepared food by knowledgable passionate staff. Tucked away in Chapel St it could be missed as not on the main drag - but well worth a visit. Only a small number of table so best to book for dinner

I fancied some scrambled eggs, tomatoes and toast and although breakfast had ended the guy who I presume is the owner, said there was no problem preparing this for me, as it was fairly quiet.... A perfect place for a very large fry up! Very good food, a pleasant owner and a nice atmosphere. Clearly very popular and you can see why.

Busy when we first tried so owner reserved us a table for later. Not fast food but you can tell why. We both really enjoyed our meals and will return next time we are down.

Went here for lunch on arrival in St Ives yesterday. Restaurant almost full and we enjoyed a delicious salad, omelet and a really tasty mushroom, onion and cheese dish. Just what we wanted! Returned for an excellent breakfast and debating a third visit tomorrow - with the food competition there is in St Ives that's quite a compliment , both... More

We had the most fabulous experience here. We knew it would be good because when we enquired about booking a table, the guy who booked us in was really excited about the menu himself! Bless him. We arrived for our meal just as a table of 15 were enjoying their desserts. The only waitress was adorable and really friendly. The... More
