We always try to fit in at least one visit to Caffe Pasta while on one of our biannual short trips to St Ives so it has come as something of a blow that, on our latest visit last week, we came away rather disappointed. Starters and desserts were well up to the usual standard but our main courses were... More

Well situated overlooking the harbour. Visited several times and sampled pasta, pizza and steak; all very good, well presented and reasonable prIced. Service is friendly and the restaurant popular enough; so booking is recommended. If nothing else sit outside, watch the harbour and the world go whilst enjoying the best coffee in town.

On the harbour front with great views, get a window seat if possible. Had delicious mussels starter as a main and more than enough. Always visit when in St Ives and a favourite with locals so must be good!

Sat outside and had lasagne and a prawn bake (the wife). Great view only a few meters from the harbour. Food was sound but not great, garlic bread was disappointing but overall it's perfectly ok holiday fodder. Staff are very friendly

The meal we had was nice but nothing to write home about. My husband really like his pizza which was well cooked and full of flavour. My scallop starter was very small & at best average. The service was OK but you could tell the staff were under pressure. My tiramisu was mainly mascarpone with very little sponge or coffee.... More

We ate here a few times on our recent stay in St Ives. The food was excellent, on our last trip my husband ordered a steak, and as he likes it 'well done' the waiter informed us it would take around 20 minutes before the food arrived. The food arrived in the time stated, and the steak was cooked to... More

We booked a table here relatively late in the day and were surprised that they could reserve a table for us at 8:30pm. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived but our table was ready and we were seated at the back, with a lovely view onto the harbour. We ordered two starters and two mains which arrived promptly... More

Food was really good but the service... Girls working there would definitely prefer to talk with each other than work. I do not mind that but please be polite to the customer and a little bit of smile would also help. We felt like we should not be there. Like I said food was very nice but that's all.

We came here with another couple and had a lovely meal - we had a range of pasta, pizza, and meat dishes, all of which were delicious. The desserts were amazing and service very friendly. Not masses of space, but plenty enough for a cosy meal.
