We have been coming to Caffe Pasta ever since it first opened and tonight was one of the best meals we have had there. My husband had king prawns to start with then sea bass fillet with mussels, leeks and risotto. I was hoping to have mussels to start with but they hadn't any so had red pepper and sweet... More

We love eating here but being a family of 6 knew to book well in advance & were rewarded with a window table overlooking the harbour. The name Caffe Pasta does the restaurant a disservice, yes pasta is served (some delicious tagliatelle / spaghetti dishes) but so are pizzas (unusual toppings), fish & other specials. Four of our party had... More

Despite the name, which makes it sounds very mid range family fare, this restaurant serves some stunning food that isn’t your basic pizza and pasta – but they do that too. The first courses for our group were generously sized, prawns for some and squid for others. Both were fresh, tasty and plentiful. Three of us had the “special” sea... More

We really wanted to eat here last night as it's a tradition that we eat here on our first night but they couldn't fit us in. We managed to book for Sunday night and the food did not disappoint, everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. One small point why are the waitresses so miserable !

We just dropped in and they were fully booked, but nevertheless managed to arrange a table. Had a very nice crab & shrimp penne. Yum!

Our B&B owner recommended this restaurant. On arriving we were told there was a table available, but only for 45 minutes. We decided to stay and just have a main course - whilst waiting for our meal, the waitress came up and said she'd been able to jig the tables around and we didn't need to leave, we could stay... We ate here on a Sunday lunchtime and despite the gorgeous sunshine it was relatively quiet, however, we have been told that it can get packed, so may be worth booking in future. The menu included loads of dishes that I would have liked to try and had great pizza and pasta choices. All of our party went for pizza... More

We are locals & regulars at Cafe Pasta. It delights for ambience, quality and service most of the time. When busy it can be a little challenging to attract the waiting staff. Last nights meal for 4 of us didn't go perfectly. The slow cooked lamb & boulangerie potatoes missed the Mark, as the potato was not cooked/ a little... More
