Perfect

Beautiful location overlooking the harbor. Excellent food and service, the puddings are well worth saving room for. Booking advised.

Among the myriad "chips with everything" seaside eating places in St Ives this is a real find. The atmosphere is more wine bar than cafe, scrubbed tables and lots of chrome and in a delightful setting overlooking the harbour. The service is excellent and so is the food. Great pate (always a tough test) and scallops in a delicious sauce.... More

Recommended by a local guest house owner we ate here on a Sunday evening. The food and atmosphere was great and we had an enjoyable time looking out at St Ives harbour. We probably wouldn't have chosen this restaurant going purely by the look from outside (looks like just another cafe) so we're glad we followed a recommendation.

This was our second visit to this restaurant, the food and experience has been great both times. When in Cornwall eat fish, especially when in St Ives, Our kids love to eat mussels so this is a treat for them, the portion of mussels as a started is great, they are cooked to perfection and comes with 2 chunks of... Came in here with my other half for valentines and despite being very busy the staff were attentive and polite. The food was delicious we had the mackerel pate and bread and oil to start, and the vegetarian lasagne and veggie pizza mains. Good drinks selection too

Iwas visiting as I have been for the last 16 yrs and was most disappointed The service was perfect but the food dreadful. I had some awful prawns in a watery sauce and mussels I have never had a bad meal here before and wonder if I will chance it again Such a shame

Best meal for me whilst visiting St Ives! Pan fried sea bass with beetroot and feta risotto - just perfect. Would definitely visit again. Lovely setting, at the harbour, although dark and very cold outside when we were there.

Went in for a late lunch and was not disappointed. The food here is really good and has a twist on the traditional pastas and pizzas you normally get. It was very difficult to choose what to have as there were so many good dishes on the menu and a few specials on the board too. I had chicken and... More

Stumbled across this as we only intended to have a hot chocolate but once we were inside we were hooked! We looked at the menu whilst having our hot chocolates and all agreed that we would return later for lunch and what a lunch it was, we all had different things ranging from lasagne, salmon n dill tagliatelle, Cajun chicken... Not having been to Cafe Pasta for a while we were not disappointed. Great service and great food. Starter of squid and mussels was great. Pizza, pasta and fish as mains were just perfect. A cold night when we went but worth the trip.
