This is a lovely place to eat. The food is good, the view is lovely and the staff are friendly and attentive. Unlike some of the other restaurants in the harbour, the pries are good are fair and the meals are a decent, normal size.

Booked a table for dinner. Glad I did as saw many people turned away without bookings. Selection of dishes on the menu. Pasta, pizza and seafood. I ordered a pizza which was tasty. Chocolate tart and clotted cram for dessert. £15. The cheapest meal I had in St Ives so far. Service was okay although some of the waitresses looked stressed.

Caffe Pasta serves good quality Italian. We had 2 main meals. Traditional Spag Bol and Crab Linguine then one pudding a Creme Brûlée all very good. Pinot was quality as well. This was our second year in St Ives in a very busy holiday week, so did a bit of planning and phoned up and booked 4 months ago! We... More

We like the food here so much as it is cooked to a very high standard, but on our last couple of visits, we have been served by a waitress that clearly doesn't want to be there. We felt we were being a nuisence if we asked for anything. As I said, the food is delicious and this restaurant could... More

Good location, but that's about the only positive. Staff were surly and disinterested. Food (3 pasta dishes and a pizza) was, by turns, bland, soggy, tasteless, stodgy and insipid. Couldn't wait to get the bill and get out of there.

We were staying 50 yds away from here and every time we walked past the place was packed which is always a good sign . We kept popping in on the off chance they had a table but always came away disappointed . On our last day we finally managed lunch here . Amazing calzone , veggie pizza and spag... More

Caffe Pasta was recommended by our hotel. It was booked for us as the place gets very busy and you are unlikely to get a table if you just turn up. We loved it, so much so that we rebooked a second time in the week. Meals were pasta, fish, pizza and were top quality family meals. Would definitely use... More

Arriving in St Ives at lunch time we expected to struggle to find somewhere to eat. However, we found this lovely Italian restaurant right on the harbour with a table for 5. There was plenty of choice on the menu (pizzas, pasta, local fish etc and a further choice on the specials board). Service was good even though they were... More

We look forward to eating here every time we come to St Ives; always pleasant, clean and tasty food. The food is normally served very quickly and is very tasty and good value. Our latest visit today (12 Aug), was a little disappointing however. The service was so poor. We walked through the door, all three waitresses looked at us... More

The clue's in the title. My sister and I have grown up in Devon and Cornwall all our lives. We eat out nearly every week. Visiting a different town each time. It is summer season and we thought St.Ives. Silly I know. Traffic horrendous, and the harbour itself, absolutely packed to the brim, still, we thought on the off chance... More
