Simply stunning, probably the best view to eat from in St Ives!

As a regular visitor to St Ives I never cease to be blown away by the view and ambience of sitting on the terrace at this restaurant -had the poached eggs this time that were perfectly cooked and also the very berry smoothie which I recommend - in the evening we returned for drinks and whilst... read more

We are regular visitors to St Ives and always have to call in at the Porthmeor Café during our stays. This time lived up to our expectations and we were not at all disappointed with our choices. We had a lovely warming Cauliflower and Cumin Soup and a wonderful crab sandwich. I cannot normally get my partner to touch any... More

We came for a birthday lunch and could not have enjoyed it more. The choice of tapas is extensive and we thoroughly enjoyed every one. Deserts were too tempting and I recommend the salted caramel chocolate torte!

Can't fault this lovely place. WONDERFUL food and service, and a worthy guardian of this wonderful view above Porthmeor Beach. Out of the 3 beach cafes in St Ives, this one is far superior in my humble opinion. The menu is terrific and the food always lives up to our expectations. We went for dinner outside in a heated booth... More

We had breakfast here on our first full day in St Ives. Amazing views of the beach and people gearing up for a say of surfing. Food was lovely and staff attentive. We sat indoors but there are nice booths outside with heaters which look fun. Definitely coming back here.

Came here for the excellent views and ordered a coke and a bacon roll. Bacon roll was packed with some of the best bacon I have ever eaten. Definitely the best cafe in St.ives

Visited in the busy Easter hols. Couldn't get a table even at 2pm but they have a waiting list so left our names and returned at a given time - worked very well and a table was available when we got back. Well worth the wait. Delicious and well presented food. Lovely staff. Would happily return.

Its with heavy heart that i will have the write negative reviews for both the Porthgwidden and Porthminster Cafe's this trip - so it is with better delight that I can say wonderful things about this gem. Porthmeor is one of my favourite beaches in the world. for me its just gorgeous and so to have a restaurant on it... More

We went for some coffee and cake and were warmly taken to our little seating alcove outside which has its heater if the weather is bad. The place is very smart and the service is friendly and very professional. Coffee was excellent and the hot chocolate actually had chocolate on it! About £20 for four drinks and cakes and an... This is an absolute must visit place if you're anywhere near St Ives. Fantastic food, family friendly, amazing views and gorgeous sun trap! The salted squid and crab sandwiches are two of my favourites.
