Visited as a group of 6 including 2 toddlers. Home made seafood chowder, leak and potato soup, crab salad and sandwiches all delicious. Staff were really friendly and accommodated the lively children fantastically. A lovely, friendly little cafe that clearly focuses on quality food.

We had lunch with our 8 year old today, food was nice enough and the service very attentive and friendly, but at 35 pounds for a so, sandwich and a salad we felt a tad ripped off. Shame that this spoiled the experience,we probably won't return and will stick with Pels a few doors down!

I went here for tea and a sandwich, but was treated very shabbily. I sat down outside at 3.25pm -I just happened to look at my watch as I wondered how long high water had passed. I sat outside in the sun and was eventually served at 3.40pm. I didn't make a fuss as that's not my manner. When I... More

A really good crab sandwich with plenty of white meat and not padded out with the brown meat! Very friendly service even on one of the busiest days of the summer.

Nice little café that serves good local food & good tea & coffee on the quayside. Not cheap but the prices keep the riff raff out!! Very clean toilets.

We dropped into the Beachcomber for just a cup of coffee but couldn't resist ordering a slice of cake each when we saw them on the counter, and we were't disappointed. They tasted even better than they looked and were the perfect accompaniment to our coffee. I enjoyed a generous slice of carrot cake and my wife the lemon and... More

We had the seafood chowder at lunch time. The chowder was hot creamy and tasty. A good portion with fresh bread and Cornish butter to accompany. We have visited before and were impressed. A lovely location overlooking the beach and reasonably priced. Impressed by the cleanliness of this small but well presented eatery. Would highly recommend a visit.

Bit of a wet day so went inside for lunch. Managed to get a table overlooking the harbour. Seafood chowder for him and king prawn baguette for me - so good we both swapped half. Absolutely delicious - fresh, tasty and very reasonably priced. Add to that a perfect caffe latte and a lovely lunch was rounded off. Would recommend... More

Every time we visit St Ives we go to this cafe. The savoury options are great, but the star attraction is the cake, in particular the Lemon Meringue pie. It is a monster of a pie, and so tasty. The service is excellent and the prices very fair. Will definitely keep returning!
