Nice cream tea

Lovely position. Friendly and helpful staff, though they did seem a bit stressed when we visited, as they had been busy. Good selection of teas, and perfectly satisfactory cream tea with real chunky strawberry jam!

Stopped here after cycling in and around St Ives today for vital refreshments! Managed to bag a table outside in the sunshine. The cafe is in a lovely spot right opposite Harbour Beach. Staff were very chatty and friendly - and patient as we couldn't make up our minds what to have! My husband had a huge piece of chocolate... More

Great location, clean and tidy, excellent friendly service. The hugest portion of lemon meringue pie I have ever had. The cream tea was great too.

Great location overlooking St Ives harbour. Friendly, prompt service. Lovely pannini and sandwiches. Particularly recommend the crab, beautifully fresh.

Love this place. Always good food and friendly service, and a lovely place to sit inside or out, and watch the world go by. But the highlight is the lemon meringue pie..absolutely huge and tastes amazing. On any visit to Cornwall we have to come here to have this. Fab fab fab.

We visited St.Ives with the intention of grabbing a late breakie and although they had finished the breakfast menu 15 minutes before we arrived, they kindly agreed that we could still order breakfast. We were rewarded with a thoroughly enjoyable Full English which was wolfed down with much satisfaction. Friendly & recommended

We hadn't planned to eat out but the weather was balmy and the sun was shining on the harbour in St Ives. The waitress was attentive, the chef was accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This is a very small cafe but we were very impressed with the location and the food.

Reasonably priced pot of tea and very scrummy chocolate cake, both enjoyed whilst watching the early morning fishermen/harbour workers fishing/getting ready for the day ahead.

So you're in St Ives, and faced with a puzzling choice of food choices. Do you eat in somewhere, or buy a pasty and play ''dodge the Seagull'' while you try to eat it.?? The answer is to keep on walking around the harbour, past the scrum of drinkers outside The Sloop, and seek out The Beachcomber about 50 yards... More
