Adult family meal

As a group of 6 adults we went here for a meal during the Easter holiday period and had no problems with getting a table without booking. We were recommended this place by Neil a local B&B owner (check out West by Five, stunning!) & what a recommendation it turned out to be! Upon entering the restaurant we knew instantly it was going to be a good choice, the ambience & overall feel of the place were lovely. We had pre booked a table as its a... More

Good food and drink with very good service. Can't quite put my finger on it but there was something lacking. Atmosphere perhaps. Perhaps price a little more than it should have been. On the other hand my steak was superb as was my wife's lamb. It's a right call but this isn't quite upto the standard of the best in... More

We ate here last night for my brothers 30th birthday and had a great meal. The food was sublime (especially the scallops and monkfish), wine delicious and service spot on!!! Will definitely visit again next year.

We saw this restaurant in passing and were drawn in by the delicious looking menu. I'm glad they were able to fit us in because we weren't disappointed. The menu changes seasonally and, as you would hope, they have lots of fresh seafood on offer. We had two excellent meals, including starters and a great bottle of wine. The service... More

Dined here with my fiancé last night. The food was excellent but the service slow. We would have ordered more wine and a dessert had the staff been more attentive. The food took a while to arrive but was divine so worth waiting for.

A delicious meal in a lovely setting. Friendly staff and great food. Enjoyed the open kitchen and professional service. A definite must for foodies visiting St. Ives.

We visited here as part of a couple of days away and it was the perfect end to our time in St. Ives. The food was absolutely delicious, my husband and I both had the blade of beef which was incredible. In addition to this, the staff were friendly, courteous and efficient and, when combined with the restaurant's atmosphere, it... More

Well...what can you say about the night out that we did have. We are the Morrisey dancers from Illogan and we had the most handsome night out. The young chef, Boy David and his lovely maid Emma made us most welcome and served us the most delicious food I can ever remember tasting!! My fish was cooked perfectly and Tresco's... More

Third visit to this lovely restaurant just off Fore Street in the heart of St Ives. Elegant decor, understated quality, lovely colour scheme. Staff friendly and you can see the Chefs working at an open hatch. Sophisticated yet simple high quality ingredients. Highly recommend. I would suggest that this is a grown up restaurant...too nice to take bucket and spade... More
