Was recommended to dine here and was definitely not disappointed. Very lucky to get a table (so would advise to book first!). I had the crab gratin whilst my husband had the crab claws to start which were both delicious. For mains my other half had the squid stew which he raved about, I had the steak - which I... More

Really enjoyed our meal here, to start Cornish crab, squid, mussels and tiger prawns, with peas, parsley, chorizo and saffron rice, which was extremely generous helping and tasted great. Plus Courgette fritters, pea, mint & garlic purée, I didn't really get this one however anna enjoyed it. For mains we both went for the Sri Lankan seafood curry, monkfish, crab,... More

Had a meal with my partner last night after seeing some great reviews and i wasn't disappointed! probably the best mussels i have had! And the beef dripping chips and aioli were a great side. My partner had the sea food curry which she raved about. The only downside was that the Hendricks gin and tonic was served with lime... More

Food delicious and different. One of our favourite restaurants in St Ives. Their risotto is out of this world, just like in Italy, though this year it had too much beetroot so chose not to have it.

Great menu and the specials board is always a treat. The service is relaxed but attentive and the atmosphere is that of a really nice restaurant. My wife and I had a really great meal there - thanks and well done guys!

We visited here this evening after sampling excellent food throughout our stay in St Ives & Padstow. The Blackrock was also excellent and we thought reasonably priced for the standard of the food. Service was also very good and the restaurant had a relaxed vibe. All in all very enjoyable and I will recommend to anyone visiting St Ives.

Second night in st Ives, having tried the loft, this also ranked high in tripadvisor reviews. The restaurant is a little clinical in its appearance. Our table was positioned in the middle of the room, if you are booking I would recommend asking for a table against a wall. We asked upon arrival, but these tables had been pre-booked. The... More

Booked here on our last day in beautiful St. Ives. Contemporary and stylish “décor, interesting menu. Not a big choice of dishes but that usually ensures freshness and quality. I had the seafood curry with basmati rice and coconut flat bread, Elderflower and vanilla pannacotta with a delicious pink peppercorn shortbread, my husband chose the special of the day, sea... More

We are here last night for an anniversary meal with high expectations given the recommendation. We were not disappointed. Local produce cooked in a French style but with a few surprises. The French style fish soup had a wonderful depth of flavour, the Thai inspired crab claws were fragrant and delicious. Every course was a delight.
