I have been here on previous holidays and found the food to be lovely and the service great but this year, one of our party is coeliac and diabetic and sadly I found the staff less than helpful in accommodating his needs. Previous visits have proven that booking is advisable but this time they would not accept a booking even... More

Me and my fiancé visited Blast twice during our stay in St Ives. Both times it was lovely, one of the members of staff recognised us and served us on both occasions, she was very friendly and welcoming. We had nachos once, they were great, and the burgers were all delicious. I preferred the blue cheese one to the one... More

Great Service & really fab burgers. The tortilla chips are wonderful and the Mojo Picon sauce is amazing, really fresh, hot & spicy. Also very reasonably priced.

Great place to eat , simple food that tastes great . Service was excellent . Nothing to much trouble . Liked the way they told you where they sourced all their food. Relaxed atmosphere and music was rather different.

Would have to agree with previous reviewer I'm afraid. Whilst the food was reasonable the head waitress was clearly stressed and thus the service was poor, particularly in the advent of adversity which appeared to be caused by the chef's inability to interpret slight changes requested to our order. We requested no ceaser sauce on the childrens chicken ceaser burger... More

How good can a burger actually be!!? Try this place out, if you can get a table and you'll find out!! Never tasted such a seemingly simple dish done SO WELL! Thank you...

This place is saying something load and clear - complacency. It is obviously living on past glories. Having read the number of good reviews including those by 'foodie critics' perhaps my expectations were too high. Firstly, the service was poor. Took ages to order, nobody asked us if wanted anymore drinks and nobody asked us how the meal was until... More

Communal tables that look as if they originally served in an artists' studio, odd but comfortable tub chairs, totally and undeniably the funkiest staff and the most wonderful burgers (beef, chicken, veggie) with amazing ingredients and gorgeous toppings. Not just the best burger joint in town, but the best I've been to anywhere. We shared a table with some out... More

It is testament to the food here that we drove 300 miles just to eat the burgers. Two years ago we ate here and never got over it. Burgers elsewhere just never cut it again. The food brings us to tears - simply because we live in St Albans and can only make it once or twice a year. We... More

Tried bean burger and partner had chicken. Yummy food, quick service. Locally sourced products meant little disappointed with drinks selection as offered no sugar free options bar water. On the whole, otherwise really enjoyed the food.
