It was a family lunch we visited for. We were well looked after and my girls were given some small toys to occupy them. My husband and I had a starter and a main and my girls had a child's meal and a desert. The sticky pork was the best my husband had ever had and the mussels were the... More

Booked in advanced and food order chosen in advance we were shown to our table and given menus . When pointed out that we had ordered the staff were obviously not aware. I had ordered full lobster but for £30 it was very small and came with a bowl of chips which were all small and "bitty" my partner had... More

We went in on a Sunday evening with friends , rather busy and asked for a table for six which they had but told us they would need for a prior booking in one and half hour, so we were seated. All they did was moan about the table being taken , all the waitresses had a say, to each... More

We decided to go to the beautiful seaside town of St Ives, After the nightmare that is navigating your way through the tiny streets to find a parking space, we ended up on the sea front (if you haven't been to St Ives which is a bit silly of you, you will know how picture perfect and beautiful it is)... Living in the South west we are used to tourist prices. But nearly £8 for take away scampi and large chips seemed a little steep for two to share. A shame the quality was rather poor considering the price. Soggy chips that tasted re-cooked and dry scampi that resembled a dehydrated slug were not a particular highlight. On the plus... More

We had the fish and chips to take away. They selected fresh fish from the counter and cooked it to order. It might have been the perfect weather or the beautiful seaside setting, but it might very well have been the best fish and chips I have ever had. The batter was crispy, fish soft. The chips were amazing. I... More

This restaurant is on the seafront and has good views over the bay (but NB only if you're near the front and facing forward!). A midweek late lunch for 4 adults and 2 children. About half full. The staff were very good and exceptionally so with our 3 year old granddaughter. The service was slightly on the slow side but... More
