We went in for a cup of tea and sat on the balcony as we had our dog with us. We ended up eating their as the specials board looked so good. Mark had Newlyn crab and I had hake. Very tasty, I felt it was good value for the quality of the food and the lovely view, plus being... More

Of course you pay extra for the view but the bill of £42 for fish & Chips, a bowl of veggie pasta and a couple of drinks was excessive even by St Ives standards. The food was tasty enough but how they can charge £1.95 for a tablespoon of mayo with a hint of garlic is beyond me... seriously 10... More

The ground floor of this waterfront establishment seems to be a pretty standard 'chippy'; however upstairs is stylishly furnished restaurant with beautiful views. My impression which of course is only based on one visit is that it has pretensions of grandeur. This particular evening of our holiday we wanted some battered fish with chips - which is naturally on the... More

We ate here last week and was lucky to be seated as they were very busy and we hadn't booked. Lovely views of the sea front. We had to wait a long time to be server but it was busy so didn't mind. The food was lovely, the squid was fresh and so were the lemon sole fillets. I just... More

I've scored this very good as the food was. We ate here on our first evening in St Ives and didn't return as we both felt it was very expensive for what it was - essentially fish and chips as from a fish and chip shop but in a restaurant setting. Staff were pleasant and attentive, and the place was... More

We got a takeaway at the end of the day as we had small children who needed to get home and dry - assortment of different fish which can all be had grilled or fried - nice bonus. All delicious - and pea fritters! All enjoyed it. Lovely to have fresh fish. On the list for next time, definitely.

We ate here as one of the last tables of the evening. The view of the harbour is great and the staff were friendly and attentive. Unfortunately we felt a little disappointed when our meals arrived. The fish itself was well cooked - our table sampled the battered John Dory, battered monkfish and mackerel with a crust. But we all... More

It may not look like much from the exterior, but climb the stairs of this popular seafood cafe located on the harbour of pretty St Ives and you're in for a treat!! The local staff are friendly and well informed. The scallops melt in your mouth, the fish and chips were crispy and just made, the whole place is cheerful... More
