We visited here on my birthday on the last evening of our stay in Polperro. I can honestly say that this was one of the very best dining experiences of my whole life. It was mouth-watering from start to finish. I had the Venison and my partner the Cornish beef steak. Both cooked to perfection. An excellent selection of wines,... More

Visited Polperro for the first time in five years and were delighted to find that our favourite cafe had become a fantastic restaurant. Karen`s cooking is a joy to eat, local ingredients beautifully cooked and presented and Harry is without doubt the best maitre`d in Cornwall. In fact the food is so good we ate there twice during our stay... More

This small and intimate restaurant provided one of the finest meals we have ever had in Cornwall, and most other places too. It's a great eating experience, very friendly and hellpful and with really high quality cuisine, including vegetarian options. Make sure you book well ahead if possible.

A small, intimate and charming restaurant, amazing food, excellent service and we were made very welcome. To repeat an earlier comment that sums this restaurant up ' small on size but huge on performance'. Harry was a great host, this is a little gem and the best for miles around. Can't wait to go back

Simple menu with not too much going on, that's a good thing. Lovely choice of local food, well cooked and excellent service despite the waitress being unable to make it. The best meal we've ever had in Polperro. COYS

The restaurant is very small and we have walked past many times and seen it fully booked. This time we managed to book a table and we were not disappointed. The small intimate setting, good service and imaginative food all make for a special dining experience. The restaurant uses local produce and a sign gives details of where it has... More
