Recommend booking this restaurant. Karen is a wonderful chef. All ingredients locally sourced. One of the best meals we have eaten. Many thanks.

A intimate, informal restaurant that serves beautiful food. The welcome was warm and friendly, the menu small but well chosen. Chef Karen is a real talent and the food she produces is absolutely delicious. The dauphinoise potatoes are to die for. Expect to pay GBP80 to GBP100 for a three course meal for two plus wine. It is well worth... More

Whilst staying in Polperro we noticed this charming little restaurant was full every night which is why we tried it. We were not disappointed! The food was superb. My husband had the lamb and I had the duck and they were both delicious. The quality of the food is top class and you 'get what you pay for' If you... More

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel heartly welcome and very much valued. You can expect Polperro hospitality at its very best and a quality in the food that outweighs the price, we left absolutely satisfied in terms of the quality and the genuine interest in our enjoyment of the evening. A good 5 stars from us.

Small and friendly restaurant the food was great but a bit over priced We ordered a rack of lamb which in my mind should have been at least 3 chops and still joined together however we got 2 lamb chops as chops they were very nice thought

So often English restaurants settle for OK/adequate. how many times do you sit there after a meal and say, 'it was ok I suppose'? I've been to many top London restaurants and I can honestly say I've not enjoyed a meal as much as this in a long time. If all English restaurants were like this, English cuisine would not... More

Booked this restaurant on the back of reviews on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint. Tiny establishment that makes you feel like someone is cooking especially just for you. Service was first class and the food top notch. Highly recommended!!

This place is easily the best restaurant in polperro, it's a must, if you do not visit this lovely little place then your missing out. Harry and Karen are top people! And boy she can cook! They use local products, and beers which are nice. Thanks for a lovely meal

Trip advisor pointed us here on a visit to friends. We went for dinner, Saturday night, booked day before. As you will gather by reading posts this place is proper small. I counted around 20 seats on around 7 tables. Being this small, and keeping menu to a sensible size allows owners to run it themselves with help one member... More

The male who gave this place one star out of 5 saying the food was tasteless is so so wrong. We visit this awesome restaurant every time we come to Polperro it is wonderful. The food is outstanding, so tasty that tonight I actually did not want my duck to end.... The Scallops are to die for..... You will be... More
