On a family holiday to Polperro for my father in laws 70 birthday and tried to book a table for 6 adults and 2 children, aged 5&7 and got very sharply told that they don't have a children's menu and they don't 'take children'. Not having a children's menu is totally fair enough, our girls have eaten in many places... More

I booked this restaurant 2 weeks before we went away as it get very busy. The restaurant is quite small but lovely and clean. We were greeted by the boss and shown to our table. We were given bread and butter to start with. As my starter came, the young waiter went to take my plate with the bread on!... More

Creative, flavorful cooking of excellent local ingredients. Excellent wine choices. Delightful hosts and friendly other guests. Surprisingly ambitious, high quality meal (dinner) in this tiny seaside village.

We had a really lovely meal at the Kitchen. I'm sure it's worth booking. All the food is sourced as locally as possible and the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The menu is well thought out and it's worth paying a bit more for the quality and standard of the food. Best suited for... More

Every thing about this place is 5 stars. The food, the wine and the service. Really delicate and well thought out dishes . Really some of the best food we've had. The dessert was amazing too! P.s home made bread (I think it was lemon and something .. Was a beautiful touch and yummy!!)

The food at this restaurant was fantastic. It was clear how fresh everything was from the home baked bread to the amazing local sole. Very friendly service. Excellent desserts. Great value. Highly recommended.
