Fantastic value, great fresh food & a good children's menu. Well worth a visit.

We had Sunday lunch here and thought £8.95 was fantastic value for a big roast with all the trimmings - Yorkshire pud, huge roasties & 3 veg. The children had fish & chips - really good portion, lovely light crispy batter. My starter of crab & prawn cocktail was huge & also delicious. Very cosy... read more

A very nice free house on the entrance to Polperro. A nice selection of Cornish real ales. Extensive pub grub menu with portions that a family of four could live on for a week. That said it was very wholesome very well cooked and very tasty. Try the steak casserole on a cottage loaf.

Food great - pub comfortable - more of a restaurant or so it seemed than an actual pub but there was a more modern space at the bottom for drinks only. Having said that - we sat at our table for an hour before our meal. Very much worth a visit - they try really hard.

Visited on a weekday evening. A pleasant pub with decent beer. Had the mixed grill. This was OK but nothing great. My other half had the fish pie and rated it 4*. Not really too much to fault but there is a lot of decent pub food out there and this is squarely mid range. Dog friendly. Massive rip off... More

Popped in to The Crumplehorn for lunch on a bit of a whim and couldn't have been happier. Nice atmosphere, staff, food and beer. Would highly recommend for anyone in Polperro.

We visited this hotel after last visiting some years ago. It hasn't changed, in fact it is tired and shabby and appears as though nothing has been done in all that time. It is a busy establishment mostly for tourists. We ate whilst there, the food was substantial but overpriced, however the staff were friendly and service was quick. The... More

We have spent tens of thousands of pounds restoring this property and premises over the years. Our building is an historic one (partly listed) dating back as far as 1212 and we honour her history and heritage by restoring and repairing her in sympathy and love in keeping with this. Unfortunately in today’s society these are not values appreciated by... More
