Excellent Sunday nutroast (not on the menu)

Probably one of the nicest. tastiest nut roast I have ever had (has mushrooms though, so not for mushroom-haters). It comes with all the trimmings and loads of different veg (although they forgot my Yorkshire pud last time and I didn't notice until it was too late). At £8.95 it was really quite... read more

visited polperro on a family visit and was very impressed with the food. Excellent portion sizes and very good service. I had the macaroni cheese which was excellent,my partner had the burger which was enourmous and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their meals and puddings. would definitely return next time I'm down visiting!

Have been here many times before and will most definitely be coming back. Good selection of local ale and a very accommodating menu for all ages and eaters.

When you visit you have to leave your car at the entrance to the village and walk down as roads are too narrow and you can only take the car if you live there. This pub has nooks and crannies and a lounge room to eat which was full and busy when we were there, just about every table was... More

During our two week Cornwall holiday we enjoyed Sunday lunch on consecutive Sundays. I can highly recommend Sunday lunch at The Crumplehorn. The portions are large and tasty, and the red cabbage is fantastic. To top it all is the fantastic Landlord's cheesecake - this is a must for any visit. A large wedge of cheesecake and a dollop of... Lovely evening meal for 5 of us including 2 kids. Good choice on the menu with extra specials. I had the cottage loaf steak and ale pie. Bloomin marvelous and enjoyed every bite. Kids meals were nice with generous portions and 'proper' food. Puddings were all really nice and enjoyed by all. Atmosphere was very welcoming and all the staff... More

Absolutely love this pub and couldn't wait to go back on this years holiday for a birthday meal for my husband...the kids even took their crumpy bear back for a visit. The only thing would be fantastic is a smaller kids menu for babies :) can't wait till our next holiday for a visit.
