Lovely pub with good food

Pricewise ok . Well chosen menue. Outside the main season nice and pleasant....sometimes a bit loud the music is.... which can disturb your conversation at the tables.

Very friendly staff, excellent service with very good food and not expensive. Yes I would go again and would recommend this establishment. Parking is a problem with not many available spaces but well worth a visit. Love the local ales.

The pub's interior is very pretty and the food is what you would expect from an average pub. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful - I had asked for a mains dish (a salad) as a starter and I was met with an unimpressed look - did not think it was an awkward request. I had a fish... More

We didn't stay or eat here but had to say something about the helpful owners. We had planned to catch a bus to Looe railway station but the timetable wasn't as we'd expected after looking online a few months earlier and the next bus would get us there too late. The owners were helpful enough to call a taxi for... More

Lots to see and read in the pub and the beer was good. Food, fairly typical pub grub with the bonus of being sensibly priced. Would not go out of my way but certainly enjoyed my visit.

Gales and later a promise of sunshine made us head for Polperro away from our December 'holiday' cottage. What a welcome, a fabulous menu including spevials of scallops, fish medley and mixed grill. Portions were so large we passed on dessert! Great Merlot to accompany the feast. Bonus of dogs allowed!

Good website. Easy to use and book a lovely comfortable suite for my mum and I. Breakfast was huge and delicious. Polperro is a sleep village. Not much going on in the winter but friendly and thoroughly enjoyable.

nice place if you are having a meal, but it has 2 bars if you just want a drink go to the top bar as they don't man it when a few people are wanting food,as there is no parking in polperro streets the pub could do better on parking as people stopping in their hotel are given there own parking... As the village was so quiet, I was surprised to see the Crumplehorn with such a busy lunchtime trade, which says a lot about the quality. The barmaid/ waitress was charming and efficient, the food fresh and generous. The beer was kept well, all in all a very pleasant dining experience.
