Absolutely lovely

My family and I stopped here for early dinner/late lunch and it was absolutely wonderful - we all enjoyed our meals and the portion sizes were great! Wonderfully priced, a great atmosphere, amazing food and wonderful staff. If we're ever in Polperro we know just where to visit!

We went for Sunday lunch in July and it was really good. As my favourite is a roast and I cook a very good one I am sually disappointed when I have Sunday lunch out but this was very good and highly recommend it. The staff were very friendly and the place had a nice welcoming feel.

The lady that waits on the tables has a brilliant memory and always remembers us from the previous year. She is lovely to talk to and always goes out of her way to make your visit that little bit more special. The food is brilliant and no one should visit Polperro without going in here either for a drink or... More

We came to this restaurant for their cream tea. Whilst the inside is traditional it's what you expect in a place such as Polperro, the landlady is a character and definitely makes the place. Two homemade scones plenty of cream & jam for £3.50 - you can't go wrong. Would we come back again? Yes. The only downside and the... More

Sorry we were not open for evening meals during your visit, but as Polperro is very very seasonal we only open for the evening during peak times. Sadly if you had arrived a week later we would indeed of been open. More

Friendly people, quick service and the food was nice but the place was very dirty, the window behind where we sat had were cobwebs with dead flies in it, the whole place didn't feel clean. Disappointed!

Not sure where you were sitting either inside or out on the garden terrace but after reading your comments myself and the front of house manager checked all the windows. There were NO cobwebs or dead flies on the inside of the restaurant however outside up under the Wisteria tree which runs the fall length of the terrace and around... More

We have been coming to Polperro for a few years now and always pop in the Polmary restaurant for Sunday lunch. Good value, good portions and friendly staff. Give it a try.

Stopped off here for brunch whilst visiting Polperro, it was absolutely lovely. We had an all day breakfast for £5.95 I think it was. The proportions were very generous - served with toast and either tea or coffee. The food was delicious and the service outstanding. Definitely recommend The Polmary if you are in Polperro.

Have just been here with the coeliac OH and they were very informative . Waitress even went through the menu and even made some extra suggestions herself , which weren't in the menu . they even have a seperate fryer for the chips and meals are very generous , would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area :)

My wife and I and a couple of friends went here for lunch. Lynda with a 'y', the waitress was most attentive. I chose fish pie. During the meal I had a normal portion of fish pie on my plate - but I had been eating for 25 minutes! The portion size was amazingly large. The prices were average, so... More
