What a find! The Polmary really does itself proud- excellent food, superb service and a very friendly welcome, even for my dogs for whom dog biscuits were supplied on a saucer! The menu is just right, with enough options to be varied but not too many to overawe, and the foreword at the beginning of the menu is just brilliant-... More

I visited a The Polmary in Polperro whilst on a family holiday in Cornwall. We had a good look around the village before we settled on here as I wanted a good fish dish without paying through the roof. Not sure why we went in but there was something that attracted us to it. Maybe it was the outside seating... More

We went to Polperro for the evening (31 July 2014) after a day travelling around Cornwall. We'd been to Port Issac in the morning and decided to stop at Polperro for a meal early evening. The tourists were all leaving and the main shops were shutting and we sat outside at the Polmary. The waitress was incredibly attentive, very funny... More

Very good restaurant. Very nice staff. Food good. In a very very nice little place. You could have dinner in or outside. In polperro cars not allowed but ample parking space nearby. And there is a horse drawn carriage available when you visit Polperro you must have dinner here and the village is very very beautifull

Just read the review on sunday lunch and really can't believe anyone could not be 1000% delighted with the food and the friendly service. We have been holidaying in Polperro for many years and always eat at the Polmary both on sundays and during the week, the food is a delight and the friendly service makes for a happy experience.... We always make time to go to this restaurant whenever we go to Polperro, Both the food and service are very good indeed and when you see the locals eating their Sunday lunch here, you know you've chosen the best place. Over the years, we have never had a disappointing meal here. Look out for the new shocking pink parasols... More

Recently stopped off at the Polmary for a meal and drinks with my partner and family. We have been here previously and can strongly recommend the standard of food and the friendly service. Especially nice to eat out on the patio on a nice sunny day. Prices are reasonable and all food is home made and delicious - not the... More

We very nearly missed the treat of eating at the Polmary Restaurant.........as had headed somewhere else, that somewhere else had unfriendly staff who seemed to have a crisis on their hands at the time, lack of staff, and enduring a smashing time with bottles, the cracks already showing under the pressure of insufficient staff and helpings, they advised us what...
