Have not been to this restaurant for a couple of years and had forgotten what a fantastic gem this is. I went recently with friends and you can still bring your own wine for corkage which is great as we all drink different things. Won't leave it so long and am planning to go back soon with my husband. Definitely... More

If you like Thai food, you'll love this little treasure trove of delectable delicacies; the food is fairly priced, if not on the cheaper end, and it's bring your own booze, although note that its £1.00 per bottle corkage charge. If you happen to be booze-less and are feeling particularly sad about that, then don't despair (!!!), there's a Co-op... More

This apparently family-run business is unlicensed but there is a Co-op 20 metres away to purchase your alcohol should you need it. The food and service are excellent and the prices very reasonable.

As always, great fresh flavorsome food. Yet to find something on the menu that isn't lovely. I always recommend Sukothai to others.

I am on holiday with family, staying in Gorval, Penzance. We fancied a change from cooking at home or eating at the local pub. Taking advice from the guide to local restaurants in our cottage we headed for the restaurant. Note: we agreed a taxi would have been a much easier option; places to park were few and far between,... We were looking forward to visiting this restaurant, especially after seeing the reviews here and from other friends that had been. The restaurant was busy but there only appeared to be one waitress. The other lady looking after the restaurant appeared to be doing 'Paperwork' and serving the Take away. |We sat and ordered our meal, offer about 30mins the... More

I've always enjoyed dining here and occasionally getting a takeaway. Food is always brilliant, cooked really nicely and the quality of the ingredients is excellent which shows in the presentation and in the flavour of the dishes. The place is small, authentic feeling with an intimate friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.

Superb service and incredible food, my only concern was that there was too much! But that wasn't a problem as the front of house lady had it boxed up to take away. Everything we had was delicious and fresh.
