Excellent cooking in a large light airy restaurant.

Charming attentive staff serve wonderful food in an attractive airy 2 floor restaurant . Grilled lobster was excellent and very fairly priced at £15 for a very generous sized half. Delicious scallops with herb gremolata and aioli were a real wow! There are plenty of flat fish options as well as... read more

Wonderful food, good value, brilliant staff. Initially we were told that the restaurant was full but the staff gave us a drink and asked us to wait a few minutes. Ten minuets later we were seated.

We travel from outside Penzance, so it is convenient to go early and sample the early bird menu (before 19.00). This always has good choices from the main menu and represents a good saving on the total cost. In the past we have had Beetroot Risotto and Ragout but you must try the Thai Monkfish which is superb. There is... More

My first visit to this establishment but not my last. Beginning with the welcome and service, many top London Restaurants could learn from this Gem. The Girls led by exemplary Head Waitress were a joy to behold, very friendly but with a first class knowledge of their menu.. My friend from Israel waxed lyrical over the Falafel which we shared... The restaurant accommodated our needs despite being heavily booked and luckily for us we had the last table available which was followed by a culinary delight. The whole meal was wonderfully presented, cooked to our total satisfaction with superb flavours throughout. The staff were extremely professional and helpful with their advice. We will definitely revisit during our holiday stay in... More

Great little restaurant tucked down an alley. we went upstairs and had a window seat to watch the world go by below. The staff were so friendly and we had a wonderful meal and some very enjoyable wine selections. Would happily repeat this experience.

We visited this restaurant and initially had a problem with the starter which was over-seasoned. The waitress was great and just reordered and apologised for the error. So many people turned up on the night without booking and unfortunately for them were turned away! The meal was excellent and I would recommend this restaurant to all.
