Dining out at The Bakehouse was a wonderful experience and has given us happy memories of an important birthday celebration. The food was first class and the service attentive, friendly and helpful. We have rightly placed The Bakehouse as our number one restaurant visit during our holiday. Congratulations and thank you Andy, Rachel and your excellent team.

We so enjoyed our first meal in The Bakehouse that we returned two evenings later. The staff were so attentive and very hard working. The mushroom & nutmeg soup we had for starters was real comfort food, truly delicious. The beetroot risotto was equally delicious. This restaurant is really the best thing about Penzance.

One of my all time favourite restaurants - in my experience all my meals have been excellent, the service efficient & friendly attentive but not overwhelming the balance is perfect in my view, as are the ingredients, and always cooked to perfection and delicious. I have one friend with special requirements & they have always been accommodated extremely well. No... More

We dined here three nights out of five while in Penzance recently - that's how good the food was. One night we had the best gluten free bread ever, cod on sweet potato mash, and roasted vegetables with a beetroot puree and halloumi, Every dish was beautiful to look at and utterly delicious for the taste buds. Two nights we shared... More

Had crab soup which was delicious. Made my husband have the lightly battered goats cheese with walnut & honey dressing as I love that starter so much that I wanted both, but settled for a taste of his. Sirloin was a touch on the side of tough, but in truth, the last time I had sirloin here, it was so... More

Managed to get a table on a Friday night without booking, there was a good selection of food which was delicious, especially the bread which was served at the beginning, it's worth going just for that!. Great food, reasonable prices.

This restaurant was recommended to us when we stayed in Penzance, and it was excellent. We ordered steak and I can honestly say, it was the most delicious and tender steak I have tasted. The house wine was also of a very high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service good. It goes without saying that I... More

My husband booked us in for our 25th wedding anniversary with our 2 sons and one of their friends. Very friendly owner who on finding out it was a special occasion sprinkled little hearts on our table, nice touch. She also kept an eye out for our sons as they haven't been there before and it is a bit out... More
