Had some of the most amazing starters ever!! The monk fish must be had. The chateau briands were nice but there was a problem with the order which out a slight dampner on the meal but the starters most certainly over-looked this and the owner (assumed) took care of us and gave us a discount on the bill as a... Great place to enjoy a special dinner in Penzance. Innovative menu that is vegetarian friendly with lots of options to cater to different dietary requirements. The meal can be a bit pricey but is worth it.

What a fantastic little restaurant. Tucked away off the back streets of Penzance, the Bakehouse Restaurant is serving up fantastic food by what can only be a passionate and skillful chef. As a vegetarian, I'm used to the same old meals that every other restaurant serves up, but the Bakehouse is different. Their beetroot and orange soup is phenomenal and... More

Not sure at first, tucked away in a street which houses a few much vaunted 'ye olde' pubs. But what a revelation! Friendly service by a hostess who was passionate about the food on offer. Crab soup which smelt divine, crab salad which melted in the mouth. Chargrilled lamb and also a massive (eat your heart out, Homer Simpson!) T... More

When you walk into this lively and charming restaurant, you just get the feeling that here's a place you are going to fully enjoy! I also liked the fact that most of the clientele were local people;... More
