We love our fish and chips and we must say that these are great. Visited Nov 5th on the way to the Pirates Fireworks display. Ate in the restaurant and had between us Haddock, cod and sausages. All very nice especially the fish. Lovely large flakes of fish, the batter was not greasy at all and was golden delicious. Often... More

Great for take away or eat in. Been visiting for years and the new owners have maintained the very high standard and have made the place their own. Eating in, the staff are friendly, the look is very traditional and the menu is small, but the food is amazing, they know how to cook top quality fish and chips, fresh... More

Haddock and the Cod both tasted fantastic and had been perfectly cooked. The chips were also incredibly tasty, and not in the slightest bit greasy. As someone who has steered clear of fish and chips for years as they are usually inedible, these were amazing, and great value for money.

Really lovely cooked to order haddock and massive cod at a very good price, not greasey at all. Very large portions of not just chips but also the fish, don't order large cod unless you are very hungry!

This is the best fish & chips we have ever eaten. We found the staff very friendly and chatty. The food was great. We visited this restaurant 3 times during our week in Penzance.

After a long day visiting St Michaels Mount, Marazion and Lands End (Don't Bother) we drove into Penzance for dinner. Just off the Esplanade is this great little Fish and chip restaurant, the fish and chips were cooked fresh to order and was piping hot, the fish (Cod & Haddock) were lovely, moist and coated in a crisp lacy batter.... Traditional fish and cip shop, takeaway and sit down restaurant. we chose to sit down. Fantastic staff, ever so friendly and helpful, go that extra mile to give you a great service. My wife didn't want a drink so the waitress asked if she wanted a glass of tap water. We went for small fish, small chips, traditional mushy peas... More

Small, friendly fish and chips shop just off the promenade. Not much to look at, but pleasant staff make up for it. Quite busy with take-out orders, but usually has room to eat in. We ate here more than once and enjoyed it. Husband had not had mushy peas before and now is a fan. Generous portions. Consider the small... More
