Fab lunch!

Lovely atmosphere and very pleasant staff. I had the crab sandwich, which was delicious. The only problem we had was choosing what to order- I wanted to order the whole menu!

Four of us had an evening meal, with four different choices made. Meal was served in good time, was very nice and enjoyed by all of us. Drinks, had a couple of unusual beers, very nice. Staff, both we spoke with were friendly and helpful, which is always nice to receive. Very nice evening meal at a good price, happy... More

We used to go to this restaurant many years ago and we were pleased it had not changed, just the name. Good quality food. A lot of the fish dishes had sold out but there was plenty of other dishes that were equally as good! We had garlic mushrooms, steak, and a fish dish, all very nice and we'll presented.... More

Food was lovely, fresh and well presented, the staff are attentive and friendly. However the soft drinks were flat and the larger was warm, little things I know but nevertheless important if your running a restaurant. But apart from that the restaurant was nice and to be honest I would go back.

Was glad I had booked as it got busy quite quickly, staff were friendly, I was hungry having not had anything since breakfast, so ordered a started of breaded mushrooms, followed by homemade fishcakes with new potatoes and ratatouille. There was a very generous portion of mushrooms and a good side salad with a nice mix of vegetables, a nice... More

Whenever I visit Penzance mussels from The Boatshed are a must have. Had the moules mariniere yesterday and it didn't disappoint. My mother in law, who lives in Penzance, was impressed with the selection of local fish and thoroughly enjoyed her Magrin Sole. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also accommodate the non-seafood eaters, like my husband with a... More

We went on a Monday evening and their were 2 girls serving and unfortunately the service was slow, also we and another couple seemed to have been forgotten, the other couple face up waiting and left, we gave it another 10 minutes and did finally get served. The Gourmet burger was ok 6 out 10.

We turned up around 7pm and it was already pretty full which for a Thursday was a good sign. We weren't disappointed as the Hake with Samphire my husband had was beautiful and the seafood in a cream sauce was gorgeous.

For my final meal before returning to London, I wanted some nice fish. I was not disappointed for the local Turbot on offer was excellent. Served with crushed potatoes etc. and garnished with samphire, it was very tasty. The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed myself. I shall return for more.
