Very good food with friendly service, Wine list a bit limited, but good value. Will certainly be back soon.

Hope this is the right Boatshed as the address doesn't match the website link.....We visited the Boatshed, The Harbour, Wharf Road, Penzance, which I think the other reviews are also for? Anyway......what a lovely evening we had. The restaurant opens at 6:30 and we arrived very shortly after along with 2 other groups of diners, there was one waitress working... More

I've had a few Thai green curries in my time, but this one was the least like a Thai green curry so far. It was tasty, kind of sweet and the prawns were good, but it wasn't a green curry. The fish and chips was big and tasty and prices were kind of reasonable. The service was amusing - one... More

We ate here one evening on holiday and were pleased with the fresh fish we had and the relaxed casual atmosphere. We had stopped as a last minute thing on a sunday night and i had fish and chips which was simple but beautiful, whilst my husband had hake which was also perfectly cooked. Was pleasantly satisfied.

Our first night into Penzance from the states and we found that many of the restaurants we closed down on Monday night. That was lucky for us because we found this restaurant to be of the few open that night. We're from Seattle so we can be a bit snobbish when it comes to seafood :), but this was easily... More

We were slightly dubious about this place but couldn't have been more wrong. The staff were very attentive, food excellent and really good value for money. We were staying in Penzance for a long weekend and ate out every night this being our second night and it was the best value for money.

I am a local man from Penzance, and regularly visit the Boatshed for lunch and dinner. Every time I have eaten here, I have been made to feel very welcome, looked after and left feeling very satisfied with the food and the exceptional service given. Fish recommendations from myself would include the whole seabass and the Moules Mariniere. All are... More

Lovely food and we were allowed the dogs inside/ Just excellent quality. Stayed a long time and staff were attentive. You need to book as very popular.

First meal out and definitely one of the better ones we had on our trip to Cornwall. Staff were attentive (I had my 2yr old with me who was well looked after throughout). Food was good and standard price you would pay in most places. Desert menu was nothing special but we were so full from dinner didn't fancy anything... More
