We visited at least 8 food places in Cornwall and I would rate this as the lowest for my stay. Simple things like the out of the packet coleslaw made the ploughman's lunch basic.

Just stopped here for a quick refresh. Coffee and teas. The tea was real tea, leaves and all and the coffee was pretty good too. The place looked really nice and the staff seemed very friendly.

We plumped for Dreckly's on a whim and were glad we did. The menu is fairly simple but you can mix and match sandwich fillings which is a good feature. We had jacket potatoes, sandwiches and toasties and were pretty impressed with the quality and the presentation. The side salads were a bit more interesting than the usual lettuce leaves... More

After a long walk on a hot sunny day we needed a little refreshment + decided to give this place a try. I'm glad we did. We had a drink, a panini + a cream tea. The scones were freshly baked + delicious. The service was great as we had 2 dogs with us + they brought them a water... More

We were passing and I suddenly developed a need for a traditional Cornish Pasty (as you do). The pasty I had was very nice even though it had been reheated in the microwave. It was served with a small side salad which really wasn't necessary and the proprietors would be better leaving it off and saving some money. My wife... More

We have been here twice in a week for a bite to eat in the afternoon. Decent price for cream tea along with a panini did just the trick. Really nice fresh food.

I work in the town and my husband met me for lunch - was recommended by a colleague and was not disappointed. It was a beautiful sunny day we sat outside, had baguettes with a side salad. Extremely fresh and quick food. Would recommend and this won't be our last visit !

Sunday afternoon on a Bank Holiday weekend.. Saw the sign for Drecklys on Market Jew Street, pointing down the hill to the harbour. We walked down and found the restaurant at the bottom of the hill. There are seats outside for those sunny times and although it was sunny, there was a cool breeze. We decided to eat inside, upstairs.... More

Excellent food, the best steak and ribs we have had for a long time. Our youngest wanted sausage and chips which were not on the lunchtime menu however they allowed her to have it anyway. Basic decor but the view made up for this and the staff were very friendly. We would certainly eat there again and recommend to our... More
