The quintessential Penzance coffee shop with great coffee and fantastic food. The specials menu changes daily and the basic menu offers delicious sandwiches etc. I come here for great coffee, nice atmosphere, and great lunches. What a shame they don't open in the evening! The salad dressing is so good I get a jar to take away!

A local recommended the Honey Pot to us as we were wandering around Penzance today. I've got to say it was a great recommendation. We stopped by not wanting either a cream tea or a full meal so we opted for sandwiches and salad. They were outstanding!!!! Great meal at a great price and the staff is welcoming and so... More

Haven't eaten here in ages but popped in for tea a week ago and were delighted to find it was exactly as we remembered it, lovely atmosphere, helped by the decor which is cosy without being twee. The staff were friendly if a little slow, but it was busy and it was possible that we snuck in without being noticed.... More

Whenever in penzance we try to include a trip to the lovely honeypot. Today I had a lovely Greek salad and sparkling elderflower cordial and my husband had a cheese baguette and flat white. The food and drink was delicious as always and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that the salad was so filling I... More

I don't usually review cafe's but feel compelled to add my voice, mostly because I just ate ate at the Honey Pot and happened to order the same meal as FJS20, the feta tart. I have no complaints regarding either the portion size or the staff attitude! The food here is lovingly prepared to order,by a kitchen staff who obviously... More

Pretty much most lunch breaks I treat myself to a sandwich or baguette from the stunning range of options on offer always packed with freshly dressed salad, from The Honey Pot. The daily specials and the cakes….well just one look at the counter or the blackboard & you’ll stop dead in your tracks. At the weekend I seem to find... More

Two of us recently visited the Honeypot and have to agree with FJS20 (All lettuce, no substance). Our biggest gripe was lack of customer care, with staff seemingly more interested in holding their private conversations than attending to their paying customers. This created a bad atmosphere. The food itself was quite good, but portions were miserly. We will not return.... More

Dear Nigel S. I am absolutely devastated to read your review of what must have been an less than lovely trip to my café. I m deeply upset to read of the attitude of some of my staff, (not all were working that day) and apologise unreservedly for their treatment of your group. I was not present on the day... More

My friend and I often visit the Honeypot but of late have been disappointed. It starts with the atmosphere, the staff barely acknowledge us and aren't at all interested in customer care. On this particular occasion I ordered a feta tart with new potatoes and salad and my friend ordered curry. The curry was lovely but was served with cold... More

Hello FJS20 I have read your review of your recent visit to The Honey Pot, and I am deeply sorry that you had so many complaints. I take the point that our food is not cheap, but then cheap invariably means corner cutting and low quality ingredients. I think we have always been fair, and haven't put prices up significantly,... Went to this place cause i was excited with its view while walking around Penzance. I had 1 cream tea and 1 slice of blueberry and vanilla cheesecake. The scones were freshly baked, they were so good, the cheesecake was not really good. Costs are reasonable.
