amazing food

i have been here a fair few times now and I've never been disappointed! last time i went i sampled the apple sage and lentil bake to say it was divine is an understatement! certainly advisable to book a table as it's a small place and make sure you bring cash!

This is our favourite place for lunch, the food is always delicious and freshly prepared. It's good value for money and highly recommend the tasty soups especialy the dhal. There is a slant towards middle eastern food and lots of veggi choices, so there's always something interesting to experiment with. I have never had any bad service or bad food... More

We had been to Penlee House gallery and were cutting through the back streets to go to the Exchange and stopped at the honey-pot for lunch. What a breath of fresh air. We sat in a cosy corner- Good service- good choice of food - reasonable prices and we shall definitely go there again.!

On a dull, rainy day we spotted a range of tasty-looking cakes through the window and came inside. With a friendly welcome and a table by the window we decided to have lunch. Good decision! Homemade and very tasty, my choice was leek and goats' cheese tart with new potatoes. Husband's choice was lasagne with garlic bread. Excellent food, the... More

We have visited this cafe/bistro on several occasions and have always been delighted with the service and the food. However this time we felt that there was poor value for money. we had a brie, bacon and cranberry baguette. the bacon was tiny pieces that looked as if it was the sort of bits you woudl buy in tescos for... We came here following a recommendation from a friend and absolutely loved it. I am pining for a slice of homily pie and chutney as I type! Lovely fresh salads and generous helpings of everything, delicious range of food and lovely friendly cosy atmosphere. If I lived in Penzance I would slowly eat my way through everything on the menu.... More

Nice menu, good vegetarian options but very small, especially when the young mothers block everywhere with their prams and pushchairs.

So we have lunch I had bacon and chicken salad and my partner had omelet pie and salad and he had red bush in a tea pot and I jug of cold water. The service was out Standing. The food amazing. Although alittle light music would not go amiss other wise the perfect back street hideaway for lunch x

A very filling lunch. Everything on the menu sounded delicious but we all 3 went for curry. Spicy and fresh ingredients presented well. Too full for a pudding we chose to share a portion of cake, this however was disappointingly sweet and dry. Maybe just a bad choice! I will definitely return when next in Penzance for food .
