The best crab sandwiches we have ever had, the most delicious Cornish cream tea on another afternoon and a delicious fish meal one evening. Very friendly staff, right on the edge of the harbour, so plenty to watch while you eat. Also everything was good value.

Title says it all....tucked away in Newquay Harbour, this rustic restaurant gives Rick Stein a run for his money.... Wonderful fresh sea food, cooked to order. Beautiful setting with friendly, informative staff. Don't miss out....make sure you pay it a visit.

Before you enter the restaurant you can view the tanks with crayfish and lobsters swimming around. This was very exciting! We had the fruits de mer platter with fresh lobster, crab claws, mussels and fish. Simply prepared and delicious. There is a lovely view over the harbour with heaters on the veranda so you can sit outside.

I ate here with my husband for our anniversary meal. It's a wonderful setting, in a quiet corner of the harbour overlooking the sea. We ordered the seafood platter which was amazing and too much to finish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it,

Beautiful setting, lovely restaurant, clean and staff are friendly. Went to the restaurant with a small group for a birthday meal and it was perfect. The food was fresh and very very good. The seafood platter was huge and delicious. When we struggled with opening the lobster, the staff were only too happy to help show us how to crack... More

A nice setting, next to the working harbour. We stopped here for an early evening dinner, when the place wasn't very busy, after a day in the sun. It was starting to get a little cooler and, as we were seated outside in the shade, the patio heaters were fired up. At first, I thought they were unnecessary, but they... More

The boathouse had a lovely atmosphere, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was gorgeous and also very reasonable. A wide selection of seafood is available. The location, in Newquay harbour is also to be admired.

This place is truly amazing! If you like seafood like my wife and I do, you will never regret going there! First of all the location - how can it be better? It's located in the harbour and you can literally see the lobsters and the boats coming back from their fishing trips! You won't get any fresher seafood! We... More

We were a group of 8 people, and spent the morning in the harbour, and out at sea. We arrived for lunch, as it was close to the watersports area, we ordered sandwiches, which were great! fantastic bread! We liked it so much we booked for dinner, unfortunately we could only get a table for 9, but it wasn't a... More

Food in amazing here! all fresh and local, and the location in hidden and beautiful. Only down point unfortunately is the waitresses are not that friendly so kinda takes away from the atmosphere a bit, but if you can ignore that the food is worth it.
