Nice

Very lovely place, we've been there with our friends, we had a great time there. I'm sure if I will be around again there I will go again. I'm happy you still can find the place like this boathouse. Well done! !!

Despite having no reservation, the owner made everything possible to find us a table on a Saturday night. We shared a shelfish ( lobster, fish, mussels) between the two of us. It was very good and fresh. the price is reasonable the quality and type of food (arround 40 pounds)

We come here often. We love it. Friendly staff, inexpensive wine, and amazing seafood. We only ever have crab claws, a bowl each, lots of brown bread and a bottle of wine. Simply served, beautifully fresh and good prices!

The most delicious food we have had in a long time. Served by welcoming and friendly staff, Nette & Katie. The menu choice is vast - sandwiches, snacks, specials, seafood medleys. Everything that was served looked beautiful. We were not rushed, we had a nice relaxing meal. Can't wait to go back! Cheers Roger (the owner) for putting up with... More

Perfect location to eat and appreciate fresh fish and tasty meals. It is right in front of the harbour and you eat literally what the fisherman has fish during the day. Friendly service and affordable price. I recommend the mussels as starter and the shared seafood meal with lobster

Love this place! It is so laid-back, has a sort of Caribbean feel, lots of wood and very beachy, very cool. This is probably due to the owner, who is the epitome of "laid-back"!! The food is fabulous, fresh fresh seafood and beautiful fish - perfectly cooked. The place is a lovely memory to go back to on cold grey... More

One of our favourite fish restaurants. Arrived on the night, excellent reception from the owner, great choices on the menu, as always, I had scallop starter, pollock main, partner had lobster pasta, all excellently presented and tasted fantastic. Gets very busy in summer so book well in advance or be upset not to get a table! This place is really... More

We visit Newquay every February but this is the first year that The Boathouse has been open at that time. I've waited a long time to eat there but it was well worth the wait. My husband, son and I shared the whole lobster fruits de mer which was fantastic, made even better by going with the chef to pick... More
