We were recommended this place by the b&b owner we were staying at! Lovely location, fab food! if your lucky you will see the two seals that hang around the harbour area!

The boathouse was recommended to me by my cousin who has lived in Newquay for the last 10 years, as fuss free and laid back but the best fish restaurant in Newquay - it certainly did not disappoint!! It was utterly fantastic and good price for the quality of food you are getting! We went to Jamie's fifteen restaurant the... More

Popped in here after walking round Newquay's Fishfest on the harbour wall opposite. Knowledgeable, friendly staff who pointed out the various different 'lunch' items in the holding pens. Also recommended when and where to go foraging for samphire. Great atmosphere, lovely surrounding and for someone who judges an establishment on the bathrooms - excellent. This was September so might be... More

Had a great evening at The Boathouse overlooking the harbour in Newquay, Cornwall. This must be one of the best positioned restaurants in the World. What a place to watch the sun glide peacefully below the horizon. If you enjoy freshly caught fish then this must be the place for you. We had a variety of starters - scallops and... More

Having a great day in Newquay and stumbled across this place, lovely. Stopped to sit on the deck and admire the view. Had a cream tea with warmed scones. Will come back

Popped in after walking the coast for a coffee...very reasonable and great seating overlooking the harbour and at £2 a cup very reasonable. Highly recommended will return in the future for the lobster and sea food!

We are local and know how good this place can be. We visited last night. The food was amazing but we were let down by the service. We were fed up of waiting to order a second drink so had to go to the bar and ask for a waiter to come to our table. After our starter and main... More

Have written a review praising this place before. Still great. We had the mixed plat de mer and it is fantastic. My only adverse comment would be is that I never see any menu changes. We go to Newquay 3 or 4 times a year and always visit and would like to see some new additions

Came here to celebrate my partner's birthday. The ambience was amazing on a warm summer evening with stunning harbour views. The food was second to none, and the service was friendly and efficient. My only gripe was that the coleslaw was from a packet. Not what I'd expect with a £40 lobster dish. Other than that, exceptional and I will... More
