Evening meal taken, average food, wine particularly expensive by the glass, ambience a bit down market.

Really great food. Had Grande Nachos with Beef Chilli which was lovely. Side order of cheesy chips was perfect. Friendly service. Very welcoming!

We were tempted in by the banner outside advertising 'steak and strawberries for £7.95. It was a good choice. The steak was extremely tender and, although it wasn't a huge meal, it was very good value. Best of all was the welcome. The ladies behind the bar were very friendly and helpful

been closed a few months now, not surprising really, food was at best average and atmosphere zero. Needs either a full revamp or pulling down.

The worst Sunday roast lunch (roast pork) that I have had for a long time. The meat was uneatable and was returned only to be replaced by an equally uneatable piece. Complaint was made and a promise to refund the money, which they never did. Avoid even if it means going hungry!

Went for a meal here while working in Newquay as it was close to where we were staying. Basic at best - very dry burger and sausages seemed to have been reheated. Can only assume they've had a change of direction since previous reviews!
