We always visit the lanherne every time we stay in newquay because the food is excellent especially the carvery which is superb, it's a very relaxing atmosphere and the staff are all pleasant, the inside is clean & tidy & the outside looks colourful with well tended hanging baskets. We would highly recommend you visit this pub when you're in... More

Love this pub visit every year when we are down. Anne and graham and the girls are amazing and feel like family as they too have been there for years and greet us every year we visit. Carvery is awsome on Sundays and pub grub good too. Thanks gang for looking after us yet again this year with our reserved... More

We've eaten at several local pubs over the last two weeks - all good, but this was outstanding and the food was excellent. the best beef and ale pie since The George in Keswick over a year ago, a rib... Called in on spec for a Sunday carvery recently and were not disappointed in any way. The meals were very reasonably priced, there was plenty of meat (beef, gammon and lamb if you wanted all 3!) and at least 8 or 9 veg to choose from. The plates were hot, if not very hot, as was all of the veg.... More

I suggested the Lanherne, mainly because it's at the bottom of my Mother in Law's road. They did us proud and we gave my Father in Law... More

We ate at the Lanherne on 4 different nights during our holiday in Newquay (2 adults + 2 teenagers) and all of the meals were lovely, fresh and cooked to order. The staff were very friendly and the place had a great atmosphere. The carvery on Sunday night was busy, but the food was still great and we will definitely... More
