I didn't really want to review one of my favourite restaurants in the world as its hard enough to get a table already, however after seeing a couple of negative reviews I felt compelled to give credit where it is due. My family have eaten at the Falcon for the last 5 years, just two or three times a year... More

good food, bit pricey and not for the plain eater, although gammon egg, pineapple chips and peas was very tasty and plainest thing on menu. friendly staff.

Having enjoyed an early evening meal on a Friday, my family and I returned the following day , a little later around 7 and although it was busy and we were prepared to wait 45 minutes for a table to eat, we were appalled by the treatment given to us at the bar area. Having queued patiently at the bar... More

When invited by neighbours (and their visitors) to have a meal here we jumped at the chance. We had booked an earlieish table as expected a busy Sat night but it was very quiet. We had a choice of round or rectangle table and went for round in preference to our guests - much more friendly. Our neighbours know the... More

We really enjoyed our trip to The Falcon Inn during our stay in Cornwall. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The food was excellent. The dog was very much welcome and the views were magnificent. Well worth a visit for a spot of lunch. If you fancy a bit of a trek ask the bar staff who were more... More

I ate here with my husband and two children on a Saturday evening during our holiday to Newquay. We hadn't booked and on arrival it seemed very busy however we were shown to a table straight away. The food and service were excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Overall I cannot fault the evening we all thoroughly... More

We visited twice during a week staying in Cornwall. The Falcon serves both locals and tourists. There was a good atmosphere (busy, bustling, friendly) on both of our visits. There was a reasonable choice of food and some well kept beers. The wine was OK rather than particularly good. Service was notable for being very friendly and mostly fast and efficient. The... More

Visited The Falcon as a family for tea (3 and 10 year old). Service was very good in that we ordered our drinks at the bar and was taken to our table straight away. Good choice of meals on the menu for adults and kids. The food arrived quickly and tasted very good, all our plates cleared !!!. Although The... More
