When invited by neighbours (and their visitors) to have a meal here we jumped at the chance. We had booked an earlieish table as expected a busy Sat night but it was very quiet. We had a choice of round or rectangle table and went for round in preference to our guests - much more friendly. Our neighbours know the... More

We really enjoyed our trip to The Falcon Inn during our stay in Cornwall. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The food was excellent. The dog was very much welcome and the views were magnificent. Well worth a visit for a spot of lunch. If you fancy a bit of a trek ask the bar staff who were more... More

I ate here with my husband and two children on a Saturday evening during our holiday to Newquay. We hadn't booked and on arrival it seemed very busy however we were shown to a table straight away. The food and service were excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Overall I cannot fault the evening we all thoroughly... More

We visited twice during a week staying in Cornwall. The Falcon serves both locals and tourists. There was a good atmosphere (busy, bustling, friendly) on both of our visits. There was a reasonable choice of food and some well kept beers. The wine was OK rather than particularly good. Service was notable for being very friendly and mostly fast and efficient. The... More

Visited The Falcon as a family for tea (3 and 10 year old). Service was very good in that we ordered our drinks at the bar and was taken to our table straight away. Good choice of meals on the menu for adults and kids. The food arrived quickly and tasted very good, all our plates cleared !!!. Although The... More

Enjoyable meal. Very attentive and pleasant staff despite other reviews. Food was really good, steamed ginger pudding amazing. Pub itself is traditional older style with newer dining extension.

We eat at the Falcon during a New Year stay in St. Mawgan, as the pub was in walking distance of where we stayed which was welcome. We had a drink in the bar first, and were impressed by the selection of well kept beers and friendly service. Although we were disappointed that a couple of things were no longer... More

We ate here just before Christmas with the family, we went for their 2 for £17 offer, I had the braising steak with stilton mash and it was to die for! Good home cooked food at reasonable prices and the staff are very friendly and accomodating.
