Great Service, Great Pub Food!

My wife and I stopped for a bite on a day out, not knowing what to expect during the off-season in Newquay. This pub is perched on a cliff overlooking Great Western beach, and has the most amazing views to take in while having a great lunch of nicely prepared pub grub! We had burgers, they were... read more

A nice bar with friendly and efficient bar staff. Good value bar meals with generous portions Standard pub fare - nothing special in terms of the menu : but what is on offer is a good value and well cooked meal. Recommended.

We ordered a baked Camembert to which they put some garlic and rosemary sprigs in (nice touch) and toasted bread for dipping. We followed with the... More

We were recommended to go to this restaurant by some friends who had visited previously. When we went in although there were staff standing about talking nobody greeted us or told us what we needed to do to order. We sat at table 40 and after 15 minutes or so I decided to go to the bar and ask if we... More

Brilliant sea views from this restaurant and an excellent outside eating area which has a covered area too. We enjoyed afternoon tea with scones which were lovely and had an enjoyable evening meal in the restaurant early one evening the staff are very attentive and the service was excellent cannot fault it.

Stayed in Cornwall last week with my wife for our Wedding anniversary. Called in for the Sunday lunch which happened to be pork that particular day. I had 3 superb, thick slices of roast pork, stacks of roast potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and a very dainty parsnip stack! This was accompanied by a freshly made huge Yorkshire pudding. The veg... More
