Description: We are a small family run Tapas Bar facing the beach in Porth Nr Newquay. Sorry we do not allow children under 14 as we are a fully licensed public bar, adults haven, adults have to have somewhere to go without children. You can sit & enjoy a glass or bottle (from £14 per bottle) of Spanish wine/ sangria (£8 per half litre or £15 per litre)or beer in our relaxing bar or out looking over the beach or if you feel a bit hungry why not try some our our tapas. All our tapas dishes are cooked fresh to order (if hot) & are from authentic Spanish recipes. Good food, waiter made effort to translate into Spanish when you order dishes in English. Good prices for taps dishes! 5 tapas dishes and soft drinks was about £26 for the 2 of us.

We stumbled across Estrella, looking for something a little different to the normal cornish fair...the food and service were terrific. The chorizo was to die for, portion sizes very generous, we ordered 5 tapas plates between 2 and doggie bagged some as it was just too nice to leave but we were stuffed. Can't wait to return to newquay and... More

The tapas were not to the standard of Spain and Portugal where we recently travelled from. The price was cheap. You do get what you pay for! Although I love kids I like the no kid rule. Too many naughty children here.

Too much Garlic! Ate here as next to the campsite and menu looked interesting and was dog friendly, Bit of a mixed bag really, tarmasalata was extremely garlicy so much so that had to ask for parsley at the end of the meal and could still taste it the next morning! I am sure it had copious amounts of raw... More

Having arrived to a curious welcome which left us feeling on edge, we quickly noticed the lack of atmosphere in the restaurant. Appropriate music was barely playing in the background which led to whispering conversations. We then quickly noticed that the owner was the only member of staff working at the front of the restuarant (taking orders/pulling pints/serving tables). While... More

Having eaten at the expensive 'named' places nearby, this was refreshing ! We had six selections and they were wonderful. No children, also good. Shame some people are allowed to mark this place down for not allowing children when it is clearly advertised that they don't ! Totally restful sitting outside, looking at the river. Service helpful and friendly. Wouldn't... More

We discovered this place several years ago and have to go back every time we are in the area. It is a haven for vegans and vegetarians in the swamp of over-priced pub food dross that sadly makes up a lot of the local offering. Most of the vegetarian tapas is vegan-friendly, the portions are a good size and the... More

My partner and I we're staying in a hotel in Porth bay near Newquay and after visiting Newquay townie the day of our arrival we were very disappointed with the restaurants available , they were more pub food places than restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised when we notice this little tapas place overlooking the beach in Porth, a minute walk... More
