We ate here on the Saturday evening (advisable to book) and the food was fantastic and brilliant value for money, don't eat for a week before hand, the portions are huge!!!! We also enjoyed the quiz, bingo and meat raffle... More

Took my parents for a surprise meal out with my grandmother. Had seen reviews on trip advisor and were not disappointed. Fantastic choice on the menu all very reasonably priced. Food arrived piping hot and very generously portioned. Waiting staff were very friendly and very helpful. The only downside being due to the age of the building the ceilings are... More

First time turned up without booking and discovered it was a Mexican themed night. Not what we planned but we really enjoyed it. Second time we'd booked and it was a normal menu. Nice variety of options, all well presented and well cooked. Service very friendly and unobtrusive. We will return!

Very welcoming traditional pub, food much more quality than you expect. To start I had scallops other half had duck pancakes. Both well presented and good mix of well balanced flavours. Main was steak, cooked to perfection as medium rare, perfect chips to my style. She had seabass which had lovely selection of vegetables. Service was spot on. Nothing to... More

Good honest food. The decor is a little dated but the service and the food was excellent. Rump stake was big but didn't include chips. Risotto was very good Special rack of lamb was a good dish Overall I would return if there wasn't so many other places to try in the area
