My wife and I joined my sister-in-law at a holiday lodge at the nearby Piran Meadows and decided to give this place a try after reading some of its Trip Advisor reviews. The menu was not massive but we all found something(s) that interested us as we had our initial drinks. My wife and I had the pork belly starter... More

We love this pub and we have to go whenever we're in the area. A warm welcome, lovely food and a great range of drinks. Portion sizes are generous so starve yourself before going! We don't find it expensive, a burger here will cost you £1 or £2 more than the Table Table down the road but you get a... More

without getting into a slanging match I can not help but agree with the owners comments regarding the state of his beer, I have been to the Two Clomes on various occasions always had excellent food and top notch real ale, I would say that I have not liked all the ales but that is down to taste and not... We have visited the Two Clomes for many years whilst on holiday in Newquay.our interest is in the real ale and therefore unable to comment on the food. Over the last few years the quality of the real ale has gradually deteriorated and on our latest visit the decline had got worse. We asked for four pints of the ale... More

Many thanks for your positive review, this is the first time that I have responded to any review in the past 18 months,. We have one of the best recommendations in the area for all of our Ales being local or not, this weekend EASTER one of the busiest, I have turned over 8 barrels of ale inc 2 Padstow... More

The Two Clomes lies discretely tucked away off the main road in the village of Quintrell Downs on the outskirts of Newquay. Originally a pair of small cottages this establishment’s exterior belies its spacious interior of restaurant seating area and adjacent cosy bar which; as a Free House, offers a wide range of beers wines and other beverages including a... Having driven down good Friday we arrived Hungary.. We stopped at the two clomes on spec. We had two children with us and we're made to feel welcome even though they were busy. The food was very good. The service friendly and quick. We did try to eat there again but as we hadn't booked were unable to on that... More

This was my 3rd visit in 3 years and yet again I was not disappointed! I had my usual, the 10oz fillet steak which was lovely, cooked to perfection. The rest of the party throughly enjoyed theirs too and a member of staff also rang for a taxi to take us home!

We spent a delightful hour and a half over lunch here. For a start the pub had a warm welcoming appearance, with the host a pleasure to talk to. The menu was wide ranging - we only wanted a one course lunch but there were still plenty of options, The food arrived promptly, was well presented and delicious. I realise... More
