We eat here often and are always usually blown away by the quality of the food and sevice. I have left previous glowing reviews. A party of seven of us were booked in early on Saturday evening and things got off to a bad start when we found ourselves in a freezing cold dining room. I'm assuming it was smokers... More

It was so busy we were stuck by the entrance door that was left open all the time the party revellers were putting their drinks on our table people... More

Just moved to Cornwall, in a little village called Quintrell Downs, on the outskirts of Newquay. Went to this pub for Sunday roast lunch. The roast lunch was delicious and just the right size,... More

We have been before but not since May . We were remembered by the friendly staff and by the wonderful German Shepherd dog which we had previous saved some steak for. Great food and great beer. Will be back on May if not before.

Whilst out walking during our time in Newquay we came across this olde English Pub and thought we would pop in for a pint and a bite and we are so glad that we did because not only was it a gorgeous little English village pub but it also served great food as well. Like most village pubs it was... More

Lovely little village pub with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. I went for lunch with a friend, whilst staying in nearby Newquay. We shared the belly pork with scallop to start which was beautiful. The food was perfectly cooked, still hot and great flavour. We had the Duck main, and also the Two Clomes Burger with cheddar. The duck... More
