Don't get me wrong the cakes are nice, we couldn't wait to tuck in the window display is so inviting, unfortunately the staff are not! One of the girls serving me had such a bad attitude she was so rude, If your going to charge a fortune for cakes (I bought 2 slices of cake and 3 drinks it was... More

When we arrived, it was very busy and as a group of 5, we had to wait for about 10 minutes to be seated. The service was prompt, and we were quickly served with our cream teas. The scones were of an... More

What is there not to like about shops that sell fresh cream cakes! But.......I would also highly recommend the soft cream especially with a flake added.

I came in on a whim without the intention of staying for tea. The delicious looking fresh cakes from the window display caught my eyes off the street. Being a rainy day I dragged my husband and daughter in to originally buy from the counter but saw the queue along the stairs for the tea room. With nothing planned to... More

We have been returning to Pauline's for over 8 years now. Whenever we have our holidays in Cornwall or Devon, we must have at least 1 visit to Pauline's. The variety of cakes are plentiful and all taste divine. Their sandwiches are lovely too. The Hot Chocolate is to die for We now order our birthday cakes or just cakes... More

The cream tea was very good, my son in law had this and was asked if he would like another scone or more cream and jam, there was... More
