This is one of those places we have to visit every time we visit. Today we had lunch and the service and cakes were as good as ever. A must if you are wanting a great cream tea.

I loved this little tearoom. Downstairs was a takeaway with all the lovely cakes and sandwiches on show but we ate upstairs. The service was quick and efficient and the staff were lovely and obliging, nothing was too much trouble. The sandwiches/toasties were fresh and my son and husband had the warm brownies with cream and ice cream to follow... More

We first came across Pauline's one afternoon while gift shopping. The cakes in the shop window reeled us in! We went upstairs to the tea room where we were very warmly welcomed and seated by a lovely waitress. We each chose a Knickerbocker Glory and dived in as soon as they arrived. The combination of the clotted cream, vanilla and... More

If you are on a diet stay away, the more you look at the window display and the variety of snacks and cakes on offer you feel you want to try all off them. While on holiday we always call in at Paulines at least 4 times a week, our favourites are the Cheesecakes, they are bigger and better quality... More

Couldn't help noticing the wonderful cakes in the window. It looks like a bakers from the outside but, when you look inside there are stairs that lead up to a very cosy seating area. There were six of us and the waitress was extremely helpful in finding us a table. I couldn't resist having what I had seen for sale... More

You can't help, but come back here once you have been! There are loads of different varieties of sandwiches which can be eaten in or taken out they certainly don't skimp on the filling! The cakes really are as nice as they look in the window the fudge cake is moist and delicious and the gateaux is to die for.... More

We live in Perranporth and regularly go to Pauline's for cakes which are absolutely fabulous, the portions are so generous and the staff are lovely. The decor is a bit old fashioned but it's cosy.

Bit of a disappointing visit this year. The cream tea was not up to the usual standard of previous years. The scones were just as wonderful but much smaller and the strawberry jam was not home-made and had a bit of a cheap, sugary taste to it. The amount of cream was very generous which was the plus point. Our... More
