Pauline's is a really nice little Tea Room above their cake shop. We had a cream tea there & had some cakes to take away, everything was really nice.

Stopped here for cakes after seeing the window display. What a great choice of lovely homemade cakes.... they were delicious. Could do with friendlier staff on counter but everyone has bad days I guess.

Visit newquay every year but had never eaten in paulines upstairs cafe! We were greeted by a very polite young man who showed us to a booth and took our order for tea and cake. Our treat arrived quickly and boy were those cakes big!!! Cafe gets busy but diners are encouraged to wait for a tablet which I would... More

Stopped atPaulines for a spot of afternoon tea and wasn't disappointed. The decor is a bit dated but the food offering was first class and the pasty was delicious and the wife had the lemon cheesecake. If your looking for a bite to eat look no further and to add the experience the young lad who runs the floor is... More

Stopped at paulines for tea and cake. The sticky toffee and caramel cake and the chocolate cheesecake were both cakes of the highest order served by friendly staff. Tea was good too, a pot for one made 2 large cups. Pretty good value too. Large portions, had to take some away.

My husband, two year old and I visited the tearoom yesterday and have to say it's one of the best value places we have eaten in during our stay in Cornwall. The server was very friendly and when he saw what we were ordering for our two year old instantly asked if we wanted small versions. We ordered sandwiches which... More

A good value Cornish cream tea but no fruit in the scones. Generous amount of clotted cream and jam but no butter. Only a pot of tea but no hot water pot

Only eat here when visiting new-quay ( sorry about spelling for some reason it wouldn't let me spell it otherwise), beautiful cakes & snacks. Usually have a pasty or jacket potato but always leave room for a cream tea. Yummy! There are plenty of other cakes to have coffee, chocolate cheesecakes. Well worth a visit.

Called in for some cream cakes, they have a fabulous choice. Plus other pastries and sandwiches. Unfortunately we have never eaten in the café, as it is upstairs and totally inaccessible for disabled people. Such a shame.
