A lucky find

Stopped here by chance. Had a cream tea which was divine. Staff were so friendly and clearly rightly proud of their service and the quality of food. An absolute pleasure to visit it made my day!

Visited paulines cake shop today for cake and sandwiches to take home. Food was good but the girl that served us unsociable and rude. May think twice about going again

The best Cream Tea you'll find in Newquay if not Cornwall. The window clearly shows all the cakes you can get and all are delicious. I enjoy going into the tearoom upstairs which is a bit outdated but the staff are always friendly and food always comes fairly quickly even when it's busy. I take my girls here for a... More

The cakes in the window tempt you into the tearooms upstairs. The food was not , however, as tempting. I ordered a cornish pasty as I was in Cornwall , but this turned out to be very similar to any I could buy in Greggs except with more pastry and less sunstantial filling. My dining companian chose ham sandwiches which... More

We recently visited Newquay for a week to escape from our London lifestyles and can honestly say that this place had a huge part to play in making this holiday one of the best! Pauline's is on the main high street and stands out due to the fantastic selection of homemade cakes and sandwiches on display (which are just as... More
