Great Breakfast

This is a funky little diner with a no nonsense breakfast menu. The food is cooked well, and the customer service is friendly and relaxed. Well worth a visit for a tasty fry up.

We went there for breakfast based on the reviews and left feeling very short changed - we ordered eggs benedict - I only wanted one egg but was told I had to order as per the menu and have two. At £7 a pop it was expensive and the ham was cheap ham, already chopped up for filling omelettes. Juice... More

I ate here over the weekend, the cafe it's self is nice inside although a little cramped, tables are very close together. There was a lady at the counter and we assumed you ordered there although this was very unclear. The waitress seemed very uninterested, no eye contact or even a smile. You have to take napkins and cutlery yourself... More

Lets get this out of the way. I apologise profusely if there was a finger print on your plate. But the rest of your review tells me everything about you. A moaner. Our service has been this way for 30 years. We are extremely busy and certainly don't need TripAdvisor. Quote "you couldn't see how this service is necessary". You... More

Went for breakfast which is served all day, I didn't fancy this so ended up having the steak sub which was amazing. The gentleman that served was polite and efficient having a joke with us. The breakfast was also amazing so I'm told and believe I will have to partake on our next visit. Thanks and see you again soon.

Nice retro cafe that I thought was on or very near to the beach but sadly was on a small side street. That said the owner did go out of his way to accommodate a large family and dog. So well done.

Visited this cafe for breakfast recently, was looking fwd to it as have passed it several times on previous holiday visits. The chef was eating his own breakfast served by a woman who could have been a bit dresses more appropriate. Ordered a full English and orange juice bacon sandwich and tea. Nearly fell, off floor at total cost of £16.00.... More

pretty much summed up in my title: its quite small, tables outside are cramped together however the are big enough for groups, the food is below average compared to the rest of newquay but still ok. We had to go back to ask for cutlery. You have to buy sauces. Drink choice is limited but also ok. Server was quite... More

Stopped here for a late breakfast on our first trip to Cornwall, despite it being very quiet (on a Sunday morning) and us having our pooch in tow, the lady was more than happy to let us sit and eat and even provided some water and fuss over the dog! Would recommend to anyone in Newquay needing a quick and... More

Went here two days running, during a bodyboarding course with Newquay Activity Centre. Lunch was GORGEOUS, really quick and served with a smile. Had cajun chicken wrap with chips - did the job perfectly to fill us up ready for an afternoon's session on the water. The perfect stop in between surfs, and I'd recommend it 100%
