We wanted to find a nice pub to take our dog with us as well. This pub is lovely. Great setting on a beach had lunch and a nice walk afterwards. Food is very tasty the big daddy burger is recommended. Staff friendly and quick service. Nice ales on tap and local fruit juice. We would definitely return.

I think some of the reviewers on here must have been to a different place to me because I found it excellent. I visited twice on our holiday once having squid which was fabulous and the second time grilled hake from the specials board which was outstanding. I have eaten in many places with much bigger names and not been... More

Can't keep a tab open which was strange - we had to close pretty much after every course of food - food was very average just like a very basic standard pub food , nothing like they had described on different websites - drink selection was good but what i expected

Situated in an amazing location right next to the beach for a pub. The food was sub standard for its price and the beer was quite expensive too. Last went over 5 years ago and can only remember the quality being a lot better.

Choice of two or three real ales nicely kept and good freshly cooked food- fairly priced for what you get.I had the chicken and waffles just because it seemed a strange mix but it was very tasty. The wife had one of the fish choices off the specials board which she also heartily enjoyed. Very dog friendly but with areas for... More

We stayed at St Pirrans Inn for four nights 13-17July. We stayed here with our daughter and three grandsons booking all 3 of the rooms. We had a great stay, the rooms were clean and tidy, breakfast and the evening meals we had were excellent and our three hungry boys were happy! Chris and Jilly were friendly and very accommodating.... More

First time, we put down to season just starting, with a curled up, dry, white bloomer, cheese and onion sandwich! 2nd time, only last weekend, after the food was slammed down on table without so much as a 'would you like any sauces' or 'is everything ok'?, by the owner so I found out later, we asked twice for some... We have been visiting for 20 years now under and various management, and the promise of its beach location never quite translates into decent food. In brief it's deflated food at inflated prices. I went for the full rack of ribs special this week. I can only assume some poor unsuspecting hamster died to supply the ribs, so ridiculously tiny... More
