Miserable staff, titchy portion size even though we paid heavily for a large portion. Went to the chippy over the road instead.

Very unusual to read about your visit to the chippy & your comments .Our staff are helpful & polite at all times , chip portions are £1.25,£1.70 & £2.40 .Maybe it was yourself that was in polite & not very courteous to our staff . Good luck with across the road as for starters they are more expensive . More

We had fish & chips and pie & chips. The fish batter was soggy and the chips were very odd - thin and greasy and both very small portions. Try somewhere else!

Very suspicious review ,all our food is cooked to order purposely to avoid fish or chips sitting in warmer & going soggy & greasy .I am sure most people including myself would return the food if it was as bad as you say. More

This shop does a small cod and chips for £4.20 which is what we had and it was plenty and cooked to order so it was nice and hot. I can recommend the "Chippy" and we will be going back.

Regularly visit the Chippy as we have tried many of the other chip shops in Newquay and this has been by far the best

My husband and I stopped here for a spot of lunch on Saturday after spotting a sign outside advertising chiili, chips & cheese for £3.80. The venue was clean, tidy, staff were friendly and despite the fact the food was given in a takeaway container, you were still able to eat the food inside with no extra cost. The meal... More
