Fish and chips

Good fish and chips! Lovely place to have a spot of lunch on the beach. Go down stairs to enjoy a pint of rattler :-)

Recently stopped here for morning coffee mainly, a] to get out of the wind and b] to have a coffee. Views were magnificent from our seating area, but we were lucky as being such a windy day not many customers about. Coffees and milk shakes were of good quality but I suppose we were lucky that it was not a... More

I take no enjoyment out of leaving a bad review but I don't want anyone else to waste their hard earned money. We ordered fish & chips, whilst I accept that F&C is no longer really a 'cheap' meal, I do believe that this type of food can be cooked to a really good standard. It really was awful, above... More

lots of cafe style seating right on the beach front, but a little expensive because of the location and being the only place near that sells food

Fistral Blu used to be a lovely restaurant, best in Newquay with fantastic outlook, Now its a surf shop and a glorified beach cafe. Don't bother visiting.

We recently stayed in Newquay on a family holiday for the first time in three years. The last time we went we had a number of great meals at Fistral Blu. Sadly the upstairs restaurant has closed with just the ice creams and fish and chip downstairs area now open. It is a shame.

WARNING - this place has changed significantly since last year. The upstairs room has been let to Quiksilver, and only downstairs is open. The dinner menu is now a set one, with only three choices for starter and main, and two for dessert at a price of £24.95, The tempura chicken starter was basically chicken nuggets in fish and chip...
