One of the nicest restaurants in newquay now a surf shop! It had a great location and served some great food. What a shame its gone. Definately not progress.

lots of cafe style seating right on the beach front, but a little expensive because of the location and being the only place near that sells food

I have always loved this place. Went back in August and its gone! We were gutted. it has been turned into an O'Neill shop. It was a great location for a restaurant and the food was fab. BRING IT BACK!!!

Fistral Blu used to be a lovely restaurant, best in Newquay with fantastic outlook, Now its a surf shop and a glorified beach cafe. Don't bother visiting.

We recently stayed in Newquay on a family holiday for the first time in three years. The last time we went we had a number of great meals at Fistral Blu. Sadly the upstairs restaurant has closed with just the ice creams and fish and chip downstairs area now open. It is a shame.

WARNING - this place has changed significantly since last year. The upstairs room has been let to Quiksilver, and only downstairs is open. The dinner menu is now a set one, with only three choices for starter and main, and two for dessert at a price of £24.95, The tempura chicken starter was basically chicken nuggets in fish and chip... Original resturant has closed. Now downstairs in the space used by the ice cream / fish and chip cafe during the day. Felt dark and grimy. Sorry but this just doesn't work especially at the prices being asked.

I grew up in Newquay and was keen to give this a go on one of my visits home. Locals advised me not to and I wish I'd listened. It was Brewers Fayre quality, which is fair enough if that's what you're after, but it was nowhere near as cheap as Brewers Fayre. The allegeldly hand cut chips were frozen,... More

Had a really good meal here as a group of 8 people. Food is of a high standard and is reasonably priced. The only complaint was that the draught Tribute was not available, get it sorted! This restaurant is ideally located for the daytime as the views are very good. Bar staff and restaurant staff all very good
