We went here recently for a relaxed nice breaky, as we are locals and came here often last year. Disappointment was an understatement. The new system of ordering at the desk defeats the point of a chilled out cafe. We ordered a Canadian breakfast, the pancakes tasted old and the Cornish breakfast was served with a bun, not a muffin... More

We are really disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy your time with us, I really do wish that you made these issues to us in person so that we could address the situation and deal with it there and then. We switched to asking our customers to order at the desk over a year ago and it has... More

Whenever we visit Cornwall (4-5 times a year for last 10 years or so) we always visit cafe Irie for breakfast and it never disappoints. The menu choice is great, it's always fresh and the portion sizes are exceptionally good. Staff are always friendly and the laid back atmosphere is just what you need when on holiday or away for... Such a chilled out place, after spending the day at fistful beach, there's nothing like a homemade pea and mint soup and a sandwich from this place. Really good vibe here. Great menu with some good choices for vegans and vegetarians alike.

This is another place I always visit when I am in Newquay. I love how different the decor and menu is from the high street brands. Care Irie screams original. They offer a great selection of healthy food with good portion sizes. The service can be a little slow, however this is because everything is fresh and made to order.... More

I visit cafe irie on a regular basis and always have a fantastic meal and service ! We love the fact the soups, cakes and bread etc are made daily and whatever you order will be cooked fresh!! I have probably been eating at Irie for over 10 years and watched this place grow and grow in popularity. The atmosphere... More

Love this quirky little place as it really feels like somewhere you can relax and retreat for an hour or two. The menu is interesting with some really good dishes, salads and smoothies are particularly yummy but was a little disappointed with my falafel burger as the patty was soggy and bland and it came with sweet chilli sauce which... I like the location, it's near the beach. The food is great although it takes a while buts it's all worth it in the end. They do all kinds of weird and wonderful smoothies, I love the hot chocolates too with the marshmallows and whipped cream on top. I liked how they decorated the place and i like the art... More
