Having read the negative reviews about the slow service, we might have been lucky in that the upstairs was completely empty and we were served within a very reasonable time. It was great having the place to ourselves, and the food was excellent - we had a Greek salad and lentil burgers with wedges. The boho décor really appealed to... More

I've been to Cafe Irie a couple of times over the past 2 years and I'm happy to say that it hasn't changed it's winning formula of great food + wonderful environment. Chilled out, it's perfect for someone wanting a break away from the bustle of everyday Newquay life, couples looking to have a quiet, relaxed cuppa after wandering up... More

My sister and I went here after our body boarding for lunch. It's very quirky and we found a comfy sofa to lounge on. Our smoothies were disappointing, a little watery. We really enjoyed the meat meze platter (it was beautifully presented), although it did take ages to arrive. We would go here again.

This cafe is great, really querky and relaxed. The fruit platter is to die for! Smoothies are amazing and you always feel a lot healthier after visiting Cafe Irie. All the staff are lovely and relaxed. It's the sort of place you can go to read a book on a rainy day, whilst the staff potter around. Great atmosphere.

A local friend took us here on out first day in newquay. To my sons surprise they had lots of food he could eat, with a milk and egg allergy this is not normally the case. Best of all was a choice of vegan cupcakes. We returned three times during our stay in newquay. Nice friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere... More

I have no idea why I have never eaten here before, this place is so me I'm surprised I'm not running it! They are very relaxed, have an excellent menu cooked perfectly with the fattest beats an eatery can play. I left cafe irie completely satisfied. 250 out of 10! Thanks guys and girls I love you x

Adorable little cafe in Newquay. Comfy seating if you are lucky, toys for the little ones, lots of handmade trinkets for sale. Fab vibe, quite hippy/new age, but lovely cakes and drinks served in lovely style. Would go again definitely! A bit small though and not much seating - wouldn't accommodate a pushchair or disabled very easily! Some seats outside... More

I'm really, really surprised that Cafe Irie isn't higher up the Newquay ratings, I've had a quick look through the list and I can relate to most of it, but even so there are the odd few establishments I noted either ranking far better or far worse than I would have expected. Irie is shockingly out of place at just... More

To find somewhere that does something other than chips was great for us. It isn't the place to find "FAST FOOD" but we are on holiday and it was nice to take our time and have a lovely carefully prepared lunch, mostly homemade items especially the humous and salad served with proper leaf tea in a pot with a strainer...
