A pleasant interior but when busy it sounds like a school dinner hall. Good service and the food is well prepared but menu is limited - OK if you like fish but tends to be a little pricey for the portion size.

We visited here for Sunday lunch for a family do - about 10 adults and 2 children and we were allocated a great table away in the corner so we didn't get in anyone's way. The restaurant was packed, so busy and the staff did a pretty good job of keeping up with it. A fairly long wait for food... More

We booked the Lewinnick for a family breakfast the day after our wedding. Whenever we come to Newquay on the first morning we always come to the Lewinnick for breakfast as a sort of holiday tradition. As we loved it so much we wanted to share the beautiful setting and lovely food with our friends and family. Usually when we... More

you couldn't ask for a more beautiful location than this! The restaurant boasts beautiful panoramic views of the ocean and surrounding beaches and has ample seating both inside and out to enjoy this wonderful view. Inside there is a cosy log fire or a delightful formal restaurant. The decor is simple and elegant with a real seaside rustic but chic... More

Dropped in for Sunday lunch and found it heaving with humanity. Perched near Pentire Point, the location is splendid, with views down to Fistral Beach and a modern, clean interior with a large terrace. We had to wait for a table, but one thousand Cornish can't be wrong, and soon we were ordering off the salubrious menu. Food was excellent... More

Everything about Lewinick lodge was fab , from start to finish - the service and friendly attitude of the staff, the location, the food - oh my , the food !. I had the goats cheese tart with caramelised onions and honey mustard dressing to start, and the Cornish lamb , which all three of us in our party had... More

Sea views are fabulous but thats really all thats good about the place. Its modern but the food really leaves a lot to be desired re price... More

Since moving to Newquay in 2008 this has been and still is one of my favourite places. Be it on a scorching summers day or a winters storm brewing, the location alone is worth a visit. Top that with great food, a very well stocked bar and a welcoming team it really is a fantastic place to be. And it's... More
