Nestled above the cliffs of Pentire Headland, looking out across the mighty Atlantic, The Lewinnick Lodge has probably one of the best coastal views anywhere in the county. Serving modern British food with an emphasis on fresh fish, the Lodge has long been established as the premier location to enjoy fine Cornish fare and hospitality. 'The Lodge' is open for breakfast from 8am and serves food throughout the day until 10pm (10.30Pm in the summer), everyday of the year. You can choose to dine in our restaurant, bar, beer garden or on the sun terrace - wherever the mood or occasion takes you! We offer modern British and world cuisine using the best local produce. Our ethos is simple, fresh seasonal produce, prepared on the premises by a team of talented chefs. We aim to cater for all tastes on our regular menus but if you are a lover of fresh fish and seafood then our twice daily changing specials will have you coming back time and again. We now also offer 10 stunning boutique style bedrooms so you never have to leave!

Good food, amazing views

We visited Lewinnick Lodge for its renowned beautiful views over the sea; recently recommended on MSN in the top 10 for Al Fresco Dining. We went for lunch on what started out a cloudy day. The view from the terrace was breath taking and the food was excellent. By the time we had finished lunch the sun came out so we sat out on the terrace admiring the surroundings. Would recommend lewinnick lodge for any occasion.

Came here as recommended by reception at Fistral Beach Spa Hotel. Lovely walk from Fistral to Lewinnick Lodge. We were told we wouldn't need to book for a Thurs evening but when we turned up the place was rammed. We asked for a table and was told if we could find one then we could have one. The setting is... I've got to talk about the food here, as I have to be honest, the service was a little slow. My friend and I had a bit of a fish fest going on: the sweetest seared scallops with peppered strawberries (who thought that would be a good combo, they were delicious); mackerel in oatmeal; crispy Cornish haddock and a piece... We both had a Sunday roast from the lodge and it was fantastic. The service was quick and cheerful, even though it was very busy. Top notch food. We went for food three times whist on holiday and every time it was the same excellent service. Highly recommended.

Practically every other order coming out of the kitchen looked like it was a burger and I'm not surprised - I had one and it was indeed a very tasty burger..! My other half had the portobello mushroom burger with goats cheese and beet root, that was spot on too. Food from the children's menu is lovely quality and generous... More

We are locals who visit Lewennick quite regularly. Food generally okay, but had terrible experience when we took our holidaying daughter's family there on Wednesday evening. Steak ordered medium rare but had barely touched the pan and was blue. Mussels either hadn't opened or were so over cooked they had broken up. When we complained the waiter was apologetic and... We had a lovely evening in the Lewinnick Lodge, it was my sons 18th birthday party, and I think there was about 8 of us. The staff were very helpful, as I bought a birthday cake, and they brought it out, after our lovely meal. The food was lush, everyone enjoyed their meal. My husband and I book a table... More
