Nestled above the cliffs of Pentire Headland, looking out across the mighty Atlantic, The Lewinnick Lodge has probably one of the best coastal views anywhere in the county. Serving modern British food with an emphasis on fresh fish, the Lodge has long been established as the premier location to enjoy fine Cornish fare and hospitality. 'The Lodge' is open for breakfast from 8am and serves food throughout the day until 10pm (10.30Pm in the summer), everyday of the year. You can choose to dine in our restaurant, bar, beer garden or on the sun terrace - wherever the mood or occasion takes you! We offer modern British and world cuisine using the best local produce. Our ethos is simple, fresh seasonal produce, prepared on the premises by a team of talented chefs. We aim to cater for all tastes on our regular menus but if you are a lover of fresh fish and seafood then our twice daily changing specials will have you coming back time and again. We now also offer 10 stunning boutique style bedrooms so you never have to leave!

Good but not as good as last August

Great views, good beer, food good but not as good as last year. Shame they changed the recipe on the pulled pork burger, used to be fantastic, now just good. Service unfortunately poor this time our Spanish waiter Ricardo more interested in chatting up his waitress girlfriend than attending to... read more

Was greeted with a very warm welcome by the staff in a very pleasant restaurant with fantastic views off the Cornwall coast. The food served was fresh and incredibly tasty. Homemade burgers with rarebit are a must try for burger lovers. Would advise to give this place a try if in the area.

We love it here & recommend it to many others who join us when we're in this part of the Country, but not tonight. Arrived 7.50ish & it was busy. We had the last table in the bar. Ordered a Starter & Main. The starter came within 5mins - a fish mezze, & was very nice. Had a few drinks... More

We have visited Lewinnick lodge on several occasions and never cease to be impressed by the location. Set on Pentire heatdland looking out to the Atlantic. Brilliant place to watch the sun set. If dining in the restaurant recommend asking for window seat. Whilst food can be eaten in bar area tables are limited so booking would be advised

We walked from Newquay and it was well worth the visit. We had a lovely lunch and sat overlooking the bay watching the world go by. A definite must for a decent walk followed by a lovely lunch...

The food here was very well presented and tasty with fairly reasonable portions. My husband had the roast beef which was ample portions and I had the fish cakes, also ample. The staff were attentive but not over the top and although it took half an hour for food to arrive it was very busy so consider that a reasonable... More

Nice, modern premises. Food slightly above the average, but a view that is second to none. The problem was the staff. Not enough on the bar and seemingly incredibly disinterested to the point of rudeness. Real shame......

We visited the restaurant this evening and firstly I have to say our waitress Carla from Barcelona was very attentive and pleasant, a credit to the restaurant. The food was also very good, certainly good enough for us to consider returning to this restaurant. However, our experience was marred by the customer service from the front of house in the... More
