Nestled above the cliffs of Pentire Headland, looking out across the mighty Atlantic, The Lewinnick Lodge has probably one of the best coastal views anywhere in the county. Serving modern British food with an emphasis on fresh fish, the Lodge has long been established as the premier location to enjoy fine Cornish fare and hospitality. 'The Lodge' is open for breakfast from 8am and serves food throughout the day until 10pm (10.30Pm in the summer), everyday of the year. You can choose to dine in our restaurant, bar, beer garden or on the sun terrace - wherever the mood or occasion takes you! We offer modern British and world cuisine using the best local produce. Our ethos is simple, fresh seasonal produce, prepared on the premises by a team of talented chefs. We aim to cater for all tastes on our regular menus but if you are a lover of fresh fish and seafood then our twice daily changing specials will have you coming back time and again. We now also offer 10 stunning boutique style bedrooms so you never have to leave!

Visited one Monday lunchtime in February. Found a table in the bar, looking out towards Fistral. Nice relaxed atmosphere, with pool table sitting alongside comfy sofas and welcoming fire. Several dogs accompanied their owners, as did ours. Dogs are allowed in the bar area but not the restaurant. You can't book a table in the bar area but out of... More

We go to Cornwall at least twice a year and always go here for brunch, lunch or an evening meal. We cannot sit in the main restaurant as we take our dogs but that really doesn't matter as the tables at the bar are fine, the views are equally as good and the food and service is great. An unfussy,lively... More

Ate here whilst on a short pre-Xmas break. Lewinnick has become a staple of our trips to Cornwall. Always lively atmosphere, consistently good food and drink. My wife enjoyed excellent sea bass, whilst I had their seafood linguini. Food is fresh, well-prepared and always enjoyable; wine list is well-chosen and includes dessert wines shoudl they take your fancy. Recommended!

Had a meal with my family on a quiet Monday evening, the food was okay but unfortunately did not match the great views that accompany the position of the restaurant (Have been before on a glorious sunny afternoon). The service was friendly and attentive but the place just did not have the wow factor.

Went for Sunday lunch, and it was a good job we booked as it was really busy. Service was rather slow, but we didn't mind as we had plenty of time, but those that didn't want to spend a couple of hours might have been a bit pushed. The roasts were very tasty and well presented. Staff were friendly, and... More

Popped in for lunch, food was very good and reasonably priced. Wonderful views over the Coast t Fistral Beach and Newquay. If weather good you can sit outside on the decking

This is a great place to eat. We went on a Saturday night with family and friends. None of us had a starter. I had the lamb which was perfectly pink, one had the steak and chips, having pinched a chip or two can confirm they were crispy on the outside but fluffy on the inside. One had fillets of... More

This is clearly a popular restaurant on the up. When we went, on a cold, wet Saturday evening in mid-January, it was packed. The reasons why this is the case are clear: the service couldn't have been better, the food was well prepared and served and it wasn't expensive. It may be some distance out of Newquay (and, on a... Just been to Lewinnick Lodge for Sunday lunch, we regularly visit for midweek evening food, but this was our first Sunday lunch, absolutely fantastic lovely rolled shoulder of slow roasted cornish lamb, very very good, massive Yorkshire, hot veg and lovely gravy. Only £10.50 as well, puts others in Newquay to shame and the setting speaks for itself. Well worth... More
