Called in here whilst staying in Mousehole for a few days. We booked a table for the Monday evening, having heard that it was a popular spot and finding out that the other highly-rated restaurant, the Cornish Range, was now closed. To be honest, I went with a little trepidation having read some of the previous reviews about the rudeness... More

Popped in for a very light lunch. The food is delicious and the presentation amazing. Wine first class. The restaurant is quite small and the tables crowded together but brilliant. Wonderful flavours. I didn't leave feeling stuffed but just a very light meal. Expensive though.

Dined here on holiday in the UK. Staff were young and a bit distracted but friendly enough. The food was very good but a little overpriced. Pity it's not a BYO as the wine list isn't fabulous. Very nice ambience and a lovely little seaside village. A good experience.

I have visited several times and always really enjoyed both the food and atmosphere. The menu usually offers a great choice of seafood dishes... five different fish mains are quite usual. And it is situated just round the corner from Mousehole's stunning harbour! ;)

Off season, booked a day ahead, glad we did as the restaurant was almost full when we arrived. In the top 5 plates of food I've ever had the pleasure to have put in from of me - belly pork. Great service and good value.

OK we only went for coffee and a bun, however the service was fantastic, and the coffee great, lovely bun and presented with real style. Other people were having lunch it smelt and looked delicious, next time we will eat. The restaurant was very very clean

started off by popping in for a coffee and 2 hours later had enjoyed a lovely lunch also. Very tempting menu, good and friendly service. Will certainly go again.

We were originally planning to have a pub meal but arrived at our holiday rental later than expected and found that the pub stopped serving food by 8.30pm so we were very pleased that 2 Fore St could fit us in. The staff were very friendly and the food was incredibly well cooked and tasty with an innovative and interesting... More

Another visit to this little gem. All agreed it was as good as ever and the only minor criticism was that they could have done with more staff on duty. A late rush of bookings was the stated cause. Will definitely be visiting again!
