Fab find

Would thoroughly recommend this great restaurant. Arrived just before 3.30pm when lunch was finishing and we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. My husband and I had a crab sandwich and a fish finger focaccia sandwich & caper mayonnaise (made with great tasting fish goujons). We then had... read more

Sit in the window, if you're lucky, and watch the village go by with the harbour beyond. Only visited for drinks but the coffee is good and the menu looks lovely

We dined as a family of four with a 6 and 3 year old. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive. Excellent with our girls ensuring their food came out early. The food itself was beautiful starting with the mackerel on toast and salt and pepper squid followed by crab linguine and pan roasted hake. Desserts were amazing too.... More

We have been twice and had two completely different experiences. On Friday 22nd we arrived fairly late for dinner thus there were few customers. We had a very pleasant dinner and tried different plates (scallops, mussels, lemon sole, hake). The waitress from Penzance took really good care of us, guided us through the menu and suggested a nice wine to... More

We booked a table as a special family treat out with children at 8.45 and arrived to be told that our table would not be available for at least half am hour and we could sit in the garden in the cold! The restaurant did not have the courtesy to phone us to advise there was a delay. We were... More

We were very sad to read this review. We were made aware of the situation at the time and all possible options were offered so that you would be able to enjoy your meal with the least amount of disruption. We then contacted you at 9.30am the following morning to give our personal apologies for your table not being ready... More

A very good bright airy format for lunch or just a cuppa . Cake was excellent. Service was friendly and professional from the two young ladies with a bright cheerful smile even when dealing with some grumpy older Germans on the table near me !

Ive had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant twice whilst on business in the area. The restaurant was recommended by the nearby hotel I was staying at. On the first occasion I eat in the garden to the rear - It was like dining Al Fresco 'in the Med' I had a pate starter followed by Monkfish in a... More

We've heard about the restaurant from friends and although we were staying in Penzance booked a table here and did not regret it. I had been hoping for mussels but they weren't on the menu that day. However, we still had the best meal there during our vacation in Cornwall and we tried quite a couple of restaurants. I can't... More
