Loved the seafood chowder....its an all time favourite but be warned.....its very filling so consider having it as a main and something else as a starter.

Had a lovely table for 2 overlooking the harbour fantastic with a bottle of wine and excellent food. The service was excellent and overall price great value for money. Don't go to Looe without trying the Sail Loft, personal favourite of mine and you won't be dissappointed.

Knowing we were coming to Looe I had a quick squint at Tripadvisor last week for some lunch destinations. "Old Sail Loft" stuck in my memory with positive-sounding comments so when we arrived in the waterfront area hungry and in need of food I was glad to see a place I'd seen mentioned right there. Service was prompt - we... More

The location and building are great and there is a really laid back atmosphere the only down side for us was the quality and quantity of the food doesn't match the prices. We went on BBQ night which is a Tuesday. The chicken option is about 5 minuscule pieces of chargrilled chicken on a skewer with the tiniest drip of... More

Booked for two on a sat night but, at short notice enquiried if I could increase it to three... It wasn't a problem. Warm friendly greeting by the staff. The starter I choose was mussels, I wasn't disappointed, absolutely the best I've had and the sauce was great. That was followed by a fantastic Fish pie covered in mash. Service... More

My Dad and I made two visits to this restaurant on our recent visit to Looe and I would highly recommend it on every level. It is a charming old building full of history of Looe. Our first visit was on a Tuesday and they were hosting a BBQ evening at £12 a head and there were 6 choices on... More

Probably the best fish I've ever tasted, excellent wine and service and still very reasonable price.

Great location, beautiful evening! We went on Tuesday , the BBQ night, initially when the food was brought to the table we were a little unsure but each mouthful of the platter selection was delicious! Highly recommended good value for money,, the toffee pudding was outstanding.

one of the better places to eat in Looe, good well cooked food and attentive service. The fish pie was such a large portion that we had no room for dessert.

An interesting building and a delicious meal. The catch of the day was simple but beautifully cooked as was the fish and chips. Everything was clearly freshly cooked and therefore hot. The wine menu had wines by the glass, which is always useful. It was difficult to decide which dessert to have, but the brownies and ice cream was a... More
