We chose this eaterie based on reviews from trip advisor. First time visit was disappointed with the over priced and quality of food. Service was sub standard, with three out of the four meals arriving on time. There are better places in Looe to consider before this place.

We had been here 3 times previously since 2010 and it was our must eat place in Looe so was booked again. However, this may be the last time we visit now. Still had the lovely setting and good service. However, the food was not quite as nice as previous visits and the prices are very steep now (£30 for... More

We visited this restaurant following a really positive recommendation from a friend. The staff were very friendly, attentive and extremely accommodating of our large group. The extra touch of table decorations for our family celebration was unexpected and a lovely surprise. The food was wonderful, beautifully presented and everybody commented on how much they enjoyed their meals. I felt that... More

We had dinner at The Sail Loft whilst on holiday in Looe, and we were not dissapointed in the slighest. My husband had the mussels to start which were amazing and i had the scallops which were as equally nice. That was followed by the catch of the day (mackeral) on a bed of pesto mash, again beautiful fresh fish,... More

Eight of us went for a birthday meal recently, we were shown to a lovely table with wonderful views of Looe harbour, the waitress was very friendly, and we had high expectations of a lovely meal. All started well, as we were quite early and the restaurant was quiet, but it went downhill as the place filled up and became... More

We had dinner here on two consecutive nights in April. The set menu of two courses for £15 was unbelievable value. The starter of Fowey moule mariniere was probably the best I have ever had and the main course of brill with Catalan fish stew was superb, better than anything I have ever had in Catalonia! The ambience in the... More

Had lunch here yesterday, a Birthday treat. The place is 'cosy' and offered an interesting 2 course set menu. The food was delicious and could not be faulted. I started with Mussels which were fresh and well prepared. My wife had the Soup, really very good home made Cream of Mushroom. Main courses of 'Catch of the day' which was... More

We were really looking forward to coming to this restaurant from all the positive reviews on trip advisor and it started off quite well even if the very pleasant waitress was not able to tell us what the soup of the day was and had to go and find out what the specials were this is not normally a problem...
