Found this restaurant by pure chance in Looe. We went on a Tuesday evening which was BBQ night. It was superb. Simply superb. I highly recommend this place. From the minute my wife and I walked in the service was excellent - polite, friendly and accommodating. I had the house white wine to drink which was delicious and we decided... More

Every meal was excellent, super tasty, hot and fresh. Unusual with a large group that everyone was extremely happy with their food. Would I go back well it's a big yes. Thank you everyone who made our evening perfect from the food to the service.

We arrived here on a Saturday night without a reservation after a recommendation form a local taxi driver. Initially they didn't have a table for us but while having a drink at the bar a table became available. The food is beautifully cooked and the seafood fabulous. I would certainly visit here again, the restaurant is very quaint and upstairs... More

The staff are amazing, accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of fresh fish on the menu and plenty to appeal to all tastes. The decor is appealing but watch out for wonky floor boards and tables. The monkfish is highly recommended as was the banana and toffee cake.

We were at the Old Sail Loft yesterday and witnessed an event that caused me to write this review. There was a large party at the table next to us and, at the beginning of the meal, there was some commotion when the waitress spilled drinks on some of their party. Later, as I left the restaurant, I could hear... More

Dinner got off to a bad start when the waitress upset two full glasses of Coke over two at our table. She was apologetic, helpful, and there was humor through the dinner, revolving around her "special" treatment of us. However, when the bill came there was no adjustment and we were even charged for the cokes that had been spilled... More

Had a lovely dinner at the Old Sail Loft in early August. Having reserved ahead of time, we managed to get a great table by the window on the top floor, and had a lovely view of the harbour. No doubt benefitting from the Trawlers on the Quay restaurant being closed for refurbishment at the time, the Old Sail Loft... More

We sat at a table overlooking the harbour the service was excellent but shame the food was a little tasteless. I had the lamb hock felt it was cooked in a stock with little seasoning my wife,s fish was nicely cooked but again a bit tasteless. Worth going back but perhaps try something different
