Interesting mix of reviews on here and didn't try the tapas so can't comment on, but as for the pizzas my two kids 2 & 7 wife and I thoroughly enjoyed them, they were very big and had lots of toppings on. Service was good (although the chap serving could smile more). Finally and my opinion was that it was... More

We have just returned from this restaurant. The tapas were terrible - burnt chorizo ( think it was just sausage!) pizza was inedible and all other dishes were frankly awful. This was our most expensive meal, but the worst in Looe. Would not recommend eating here - we refused to pay for some dishes.

And it was dog friendly!!! The restaurant was not big, but the tables thoughtfully arranged so you are not sitting on the other diners laps The pizzas are large and very reasonably priced. The drinks were reasonable also. They did run out of Peroni, which for an Italian restaurant was unusual. I though the service was a tad slow

Enjoyed a family meal at Zute. Excellent tapas, good atmosphere, staff great. Tried some of the specials of the day and to finish off a Tawny Port!!

Having looked online for a place that wasn't just seafood I came across Zute and it had the added bonus of making cocktails. We had a yummy pizza and coctails that weren't on the menu. Quiet early on but was nearly full by the time we left.

Thought we'd try Zutes this year. Not great choice either Pizza or Tapas. I love good Tapas, but this was average and some dishes quite tasteless. They need to offer more

Went here as we love tapas. We were not disapointed. Chorizo in red wine was good, chicken and mushrooms were good and the king prawns were excellent. The squid was a little rubbery for my liking but my husband liked it. Cocktails were nice and staff were chatty and helpful. Atmosphere was a little on the cold side, perhaps some... More

Our Zute visit was a mixed experience. We had 5 Tapas dishes. Two tasty ones (mushroom mix and chorizos in red wine), two average ones (whitebait [overpriced] and pepper squid) and one poor one (bland aubergine with tomato and cheese). Room for improvement. Maybe the pizzas are better... A restaurant that doesn't know if it wants to be Spanish or... More

Lovely venue with great staff and good value for money food. A little gem in a massive town full of cheap promises and little substance.
