lovely food

every time we visit looe we pop along to this little restaurant, they serve nice food though i think a little bit pricey, the place is quite small so you really need to book a table in advance on the whole one of the better eating places popular with locals.

Me and my girlfriend tried to get into this restaurant on Saturday night but was advised it was fully booked and therefore booked for the following night! It was a shame as the people in there seemed to be enjoying themselves with a wonderful atmosphere and the front of house man seemed very nice..... The following day we returned for... More

We dined at this restaurant having read the reviews on trip advisor and can endorse what's already been said by satisfied customers. The service was so friendly and the food delicious. The house wine was a notch above what's usually offered in this category, an above average Montepulciano at a very agreeable price. The restaurant is small and intimate so... More

2nd visit in as many weeks and continue to be overawed by the quality of the food, the wonderful ambience and the friendly service. The steaks are to die for and are easily the best I have ever enjoyed in this country. Lobster Thermidor equally as scrummy. Thank you so much for consistency of quality and for such enjoyable evenings.

We liked Papa Nino's so much we ate there both nights of our recent trip. The choice on the menu is huge, with a great variety of different fish; a reasonable number of non-fish options too.

Small but customer focused. Great selection of fish, but with such a small number of covers I did wonder how they could maintain such a choice. However, the turbot that I had was particularly nice and the salad both plentiful and tasty. The friends I ate with also fully enjoyed their choices with the lobster and prawns in pasta a... More

And as for the Lobster what is there to say but utterly divine. There were 12 of us and unanimously we voted it the best restaurant ever..... Thank you so much..... Only complaint... More

May I firstly say that I decided to go for the Fillet Steak, and what a steak. I am 62 years of age and quite frankly this is the best steak I have ever had. Cooked to perfection and incredible vale for money. My wife had the Turbot and she loved it as she is a lover of fish and... More

The restaurant food was lovely, particularly the special, penne pasta with smoked salmon in a creamy mushroom and parmesan sauce. The menu also catered well for non-fish eating vegetarians, hard in a fishing village! Even better than the food though was the staff, all 3 that we met were absolutely lovely and enjoyed having a good conversation with you. It... More
