I was slightly nervous about bringing my 21 month old daughter here as they did not have a high chair or a children's menu however, I needn't have worried at all. We all had great food in a very friendly atmosphere. We were recommended this restaurant from our holiday cottage and when we nipped in they told us about the... More

My wife and I enjoyed a beautiful meal here with great service on our recent visit to Looe. I had Garlic Prawns that were delicious my wife had the Hot Spice Crab that was equally as good. For mains we went for Sea Bream and whole Lobster Thermidor both meals were cooked and presented to perfection. The service was attentive... More

Staff were very friendly. Had a great evening but the food was massively over priced and very bland. I may be biased as my mother is Italian and I grew up on the food but then the chef was also meant to be Italian so no excuses

It is hard to find words to praise Papa Nino highly enough. The fish and seafood were fantastic, the service was terrific and the ambiance was great. Everyone seemed to be very proud of the restaurant, with the chef coming out of the kitchen to check that meals were OK.

We were in Looe for the Merlin National championships and found this restaurant by accident. Following an amazing meal we spent another two nights there! Not bad for a week. The staff were helpful and friendly. They were happy to change/adapt the menu and told us exactly where all the food was sourced. The chef came out to talk to... More

We booked a table at Papa Nino's the day before we went. The great reviews on TripAdvisor, as usual, were a big factor in our decision. Foolishly, I hadn't counted on the roads around the town being so nightamrishly twisty and narrow. I felt like a right idiot as I tried to wind my long and fairly wide car down... More

What a find. This tiny Italian looks nothing from the street but inside it is incredibly welcoming. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Even the chef who must have been incredibly busy took the time for a chat. The food is excellent with the exception of the veal which was a little dry. The pasta marinara was billed as... More

Excellent food, only a small place so booking is advisable, staff very friendly and accommodating. We actually ate there last year and the owner dropped a £10 note which we pointed out to him and he actually remembered us how nice. Will definitely return.

We have eaten at Papa Ninos many times over the years, and the food, ambiance, and service are always good. However, when oh when will they start accepting cards, because remembering to go to ATM is always a pain, and HSBC nearby has now gone. The menu states it's to keep prices down, but I think it's so that the... More

We booked to eat here this evening, four adults, two six year old and a three year old. We were told when booking one child would be seated on a stool. No problem as far as we were concerned. BUT, the space at the end of the table was inadequate for even the three year old to sit at, and... More
