spicey baked crab pot is still delicious

we visited Papa Ninos again twice this year just for the spicey baked crab pot and it was still as good as previous years. My son-in-law had the steak piazzola on both nights as it was just fantastic - a large fillet steak in red wine, pepper and mushroom sauce, he said it was perfectly cooked.

Food excellent - try the spicy crab starter which was delicious ! The staff were friendly, they had a busy but buzzing atmosphere. Good efficient service. The chef popped out yo talk to the guests which was nice to see but he wouldn't share his secret of what went in the spicy crab !

Very lucky to get a table for four when we spotted this restaurant. After we were seated they had to turn lots of people away as they were fully booked. The food was delicious. My children love spicy food so we asked for the pasta to be extra spicy and it was perfect. The chef came out to check if... More

We gave this place another go as we really enjoyed the starters last time. The starters were great BUT the main meals were overcooked, tasteless and overpriced. The steak was so overcooked it resembled stewing steak and came out in chunks! My meatball main was large but lacked any taste, it was horrible.

The words 'tiny' and 'rich' came away from Papa Nino with us, hence the title of the review. We were lucky to squeeze into the last available table on the night of our arrival in Looe. 'Squeeze' is definitely the optimum word, as the restaurant is pleasingly tiny, squeezing six tables into a space not a lot bigger than most... More

A very small but friendly restaurant that you must book. The decor reminded me of the old fashioned Italian restaurant which is not to downgrade it. They are all so friendly and the food is lovely, so it's a must when in Looe.

Have never had a bad meal here, both Derek and Joe are excellent chef's who come out to speak to you at the end of your meal. All the staff are very helpful and pleasant. Papa Nino's have a good local trade which is the best recommendation you can get!! Greatfood, good prices.

Went for a meal here whilst on holiday in Looe. Had scallops as a starter which were gorgeous and the best I had from anywhere in Looe. My partner had the pâté which I tried and again it was lovely. Both had meatballs and spaghetti for main and it was great... Big portion which I couldnt finish! A great little... More
