Very enjoyable meal and great service

First and foremost I am shocked to read Button99's poor review on the 8th Jan. I couldn't disagree more. This was a lovely little intimate restaurant with really great friendly service. Half a Looe is closed this time of year, so tbh we settled on this restaurant as it was one of very few open and not full. But my god what a find, am so chuffed! Was gorgeous! I had two starters instead of a main....mussles and the cheesy chilli crab and oh wow wow wow...they were awesome:) Was good... More

First of all you must be aware that they do not accept credit nor debit cards. Cash or cheque only.We only found out on arrival so had to tailor our choices accordingly. We both chose minestrone soup which was served in a large bowl, piping hot and full of vegetables and pasta. Very tasty. For the main course I chose carbonara which... More

Having received numerous recommendations, we decided to book Papa Ninos for my husbands birthday in late December 2015. We were excited to try the Italian / seafood restaurant as despite being local, always tended to stick to our favourite places to eat out so this promised to be a great treat. My husband and I have spent a lot of... More

This is our umpteenth time of visiting and yet again it's perfect. The food is wonderful and more than plentiful, the staff are so helpful and take part in the fun of the evening. We came again on the Saturday night and made to feel so welcome- there's no better nor popular place in Looe than Papa Ninos- other restaurants... More

Called in by chance and had a lovely table in the window. The staff were very nice and hospitable. We had a bottle of house white which was great and went lovely with my fusilli with prawns and lobster. It really was delicious. We ate here last year and it was lovely again.

We have been here loads of times at various times of the year. Never ever had a bad meal. Food always fantastic. If you want a smaller portion just request it. Fantastic staff. Will be back in new year as have family who live there. Derek please put aside 2 warm beers for Bill !!

One of the best fish restaurants in Looe, prepares good meat too, a really nice atmosphere. Would recommend for a nice romantic dinner.
