Located on one of the lovely seaside alleys of Looe, with a distinctly Italian ambiance, It is a lovely quaint and cosy restaurant, the atmosphere is so warm. The food is amazing! Papa Nino's has an eclectic menu with freshly prepared foods. It truly is the best food I have had in a very long while. My family and I... More

We went to Papa Nino for our wedding anniversary meal and had a wonderful evening. We have been there quite a few times - it is a small restaurant and has a very relaxing, cosy ambience and feels very Italian! The menu is great and the portion sizes generous. I had Parma ham and melon for a starter and I... More

Small restaurant with c. 22 covers and pre-booking essential. We ate twice there in 3 days & were not disappointed on eother occasion. Food portions pretty large & the Spicy Crab house speciality was a real tasty winner! Don't ask for the recipe though as a slap might offend. Fresh fish of the day served daily was a real highlight... More

This restaurant is only small but it is fantastic. Plenty of fresh, locally caught fish that is absolutely mouthwatering. Excellent atmosphere with very professional and friendly staff. A definite must if you are in the area!

Very welcoming and helpful staff plus nice atmosphere. Meals are very large so make sure you are hungry. Very tasty food and good wine. My only criticism is parsley on the garlic bread which to me is not real garlic bread, but I realise that is my personal preference. Would definitely eat there again.

Great meal and service. Good value for money and enjoyed the scallops for starter. Had a lovely pavlova for dessert and please note portions are big.

We were going to try and eat at the restaurant next door but liked the look of this one and they had just had a cancellation, so it was meant to be. Very friendly service.Delicious monkfish and a great bottle of Italian wine. Great atmosphere for a small restaurant. How do they manage to serve such lovely meals from that... More

took my family there for nice meal, special occassion as not seen them for ages...over from switzerland, whole evening ruined by appalling service and chef up for fight!!! OTT reaction....totally unable to accept ANY criticism of his cooking. My sister's scallops were overcooked and tough, so when waiter came round and asked if all ok, she politely and discretely said... More

Chose this restaurant because of the menu and it seemed like a family run friendly little place. The 5 tables were cramped and our table practically sat on top of our neighbors. Napkins smelt sour, taking our orders was a little complicated to say the least. Had rubbery squid for a starter followed by an over cooked scallops for the... More

Dont know why this restaurant gets such rave reviews as in my opinion only average. Bread sticks tasted stale.Partner Served with wrong starter which was quickly changed. My spicy crab starter was delicious. Main courses were OK but not sensational. We felt rushed. The wooden divider in the middle of the restaurant was very dusty with a dirty old candle in... More
