Having used the restaurant on many occasions, we have never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the standard of the service. Highly recommended.

It is now called "Fish and Seafood Restaurant" and wasn't open once during last weekend. I was looking forward to my morning latte people watching in the sunshine and an amazing dinner but it was not to be. I have visited many times in the past but will not bother trying again.

I came here for dinner with my mum and the restaurant was empty, it was only about 5.30pm so that's probably why. We both ordered the surf and turf which consisted of Fillet steak, scallops, lobster & king prawns. WOW - It was fantastic! The waitress told us this didn't come with any sides so we shared some homemade chips,... More

We were recommended this restaurant by relatives who had visited previously. Being on holiday we wanted somewhere nice to celebrate my birthday. We were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is quite quirky which provides a lot of atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and although the menu was limited as it was between Christmas and new year, there was something... More

Maybe we visited on a bad night, but struggled to cater for gluten fee even though they were advised on booking. Service was poor & unfriendly, done of the food was good standard but the VFM wasn't ! Wouldn't rush back

I went for a meal yesterday lunchtime. The staff were friendly and professional - they dealt with an extremely awkward customer (think the person had severe mental health issues) in a fantastic manner without the customer bothering other customers. The food was cooked and presented beautifully. I would go there again when I am next in Looe. Thank you to... More

Like some of the other reviewers, this would have been our first or second choice is Looe every time. Having not been down for over 2 years we were unaware that it had changed hands until we walked in. Comely but clueless waitress, under-spiced and seasoned food and poor value. I fear the deep fat fryer is too busy here... More

Looking for somewhere to have an enjoyable lunch and we tried the Trawlers on the Quay, quite busy given it was November and relatively quiet around the town. Service was friendly and helpful, the food was great and thoroughly we enjoyed the local crab, the Mackerel Pate was good too, was a little pricey though worth it for the occasional... More

I visited trawlers to see the change in menu,I was greeted by a friendly waitress who got one a table and drinks. I order the creamy scrambled duck eggs and the whole bass, both the starter and main were gorgeous a perfect winter warmer. For the dessert I had the gorgeous lemon posset which topped off a perfect evening. Great... More
