quite good food - uncomfortable chairs

Lovely setting upstairs, overlooking the quay. The food was good but the chairs were so uncomfortable and it lacked atmosphere.

We went to eat at TQ last year and since we heard they changed hand we wanted to return this year. I must say the "feel" of the restaurant has changed To me the overall impression came down by a few notches. No well dressed tables anymore, no linnen seviette etc. But the food they serve is still excellent. We... More

Food was ok, nothing special. The prices were very high and you had to pay extra for potatoes. Spent a fortune for an average meal. Basically a rip-off!

We enjoyed a nice starter and main course here. My starter of crab on soughdough was tasty although the aioli was heavy on the garlic. My partner had the lobster risotto which was a large portion and she found very tasty. The main of mackerel was nice and the fried monkfish was good, although didn't come with the advertised chutney.... More

A lovely relaxed restaurant with a variety of dishes including those based on their surroundings. Very quiet dining facilities but the staff equally enjoy a laugh! Thoroughly recommend!

Stopped at this little cafe / restaurant for lunch whilst walking along Looe quay, well worth the stop as seafood was lovely. I had scallops the first time and crab on my return visit, both excellent and well presented. The staff are friendly and service good, the only down side was not having a working visa card machine as we... More

Have eaten here before and really enjoyed it however on this occasion I felt that the food was average and lacked imagination. The crab and chips was overpowered by the aioli and the crab tasteless, the curry chutney lacked any real curry taste which over powered the fish making the dish very sweet. On the upside the service was perfect as... More

Fabulous place, lovely food, wine and service. Food well cooked and full of flavour. Highly recommend the soft shell crab! Delicious! Booking is highly recommended! Can't wait to return.

Yum. I had the crab and chips, hubby had the gnocchi. Absolutely delicious lunch. Kids had chips. Shame we had dinner plans elsewhere in the evening otherwise we'd have ordered much more! Great location too!
