Visited this restaurant today, the staff told us that they have had a revamp just a week ago, they were very understanding considering we had a 8 yr old and a 2 yr old who was wandering all over the place. The food was lovely we had monkfish, sole, sea bass, herring, crab, gnocchi and sides of spinach and Parmesan,... More

The food was not what we had hoped for, based on other reviews. We also felt it probably was not value for money considering the high prices we paid. We may try again but it will not be our first choice. Recently having eaten at Squid Ink in Looe, they offer great food at really good value for money, Trawlers... More

Don't waste your money, they won't honour gift vouchers, and the manager lies about the valid dates. Cant trust them... Go else where, we don't need this type of restaurant in Looe

Closed for refurbishment in middle of August your havin a tin bath or making to much money. We have been here before and was very good but having booked a week in Looe thought we would book it one night only to find it closed with out any notice , very strange.

Stopped for drinks - no longer do cocktails - service slow and grudging. We decided not to stay and eat.

The interior is great, very cosy, but the food served to the highest standards. Lovely place for dinner.

We booked having read the menu during the day and did not have high hopes - how wrong we were. The food was superb! A modern interior which does not reflect the quality of food. Daily specials supplemented the menu and were explained to us by the staff. Meals were also beautifully presented. Staff were polite and attentive. Do not... More

Turned away at 1pm on a beautiful summer's day, very odd, as KathiW361 said in a recent post there seems to be something wrong with the front of house. We were a group of 5 adults and 1 child, I was away from the group the other members are all Chinese and when they asked to sit down they were... More
