quality food, nice owners

We visit quite regularly, sometimes just to drink out on the terrace overlooking the harbour and have eaten too. Quality fish dishes, nice ambiance, nice young owners who are always happy to have a natter and make you feel welcome. It's not cheap but very good food and service shouldn't be cheap :)

Lovely food and a welcome respite from the standard fare in the other eateries in Looe. Great location on the quayside too.

Had a lunch with a friend there. One of the few places in Looe that are open at lunch time and serve food in actual plates rather than paper boxes. Nice selection of sea food, I had a crab with french fries and aioli dressing, my friend had a sea food plate in some nice sauce, both dishes were very... More

We only had a couple of side dishes - spinach with cream and parmesan, fries with crab and aioli (and another I've forgotten the name of), but they were very very good, and cheap too. We'd definitely go back for an evening meal to try the mains.

Lovely meal. Good service. Friendly and knowledgeable. Good quality. Great location..... perfect atmosphere for couples. Only very very slight thing, it was not cheap.. but you are getting class, style and of course local caught fish so all in all, you get what you pay for

I love sea food but by far is this the best I have tasted! My favorite has to be the Salt&Pepper Squid! My mother absolutely enjoyed the meal as sea food is her favorite! She mostly enjoyed the Scallops! It was such a lovely lunch and will most definitely be coming back soon along with the rest of the family!... More

This is an excellent restaurant, quite different from standard Looe restaurants. We went her for my husband's birthday . Very fishy menu with one meat dish for those not wanting fish. All our food was delicious, including the vegan tomato and basil risotto. I had the crab starter followed by sea bass. Not cheap, but would really recommend for a... More

Read reviews on here and walked passed several times since we were living a few steps away from Trawlers. It didn't disappoint at all. The scallops were superb! I had the spinach salad and that was also delicious. The food was incredibly fresh, service was fast and friendly. I would advise to book in advance - enjoy!

Was really keen to try this restaurant from the reveiws and a menu that was right up our street. This was going to be the "posh" dinner of our break. Starters Menu reads mackerall fillets- you get one! The springroll was overcooked so very dark brown in colour and hard to eat with a bit of pea shoots on the... More

Just had a lovely weeks holiday near Looe and spent many happy hours wandering around the beautiful little town, during these wanderings we kept passing trawlers on the quay restaurant and were drawn, time and again, to their large and varied fresh fish menu which takes up half the exterior wall! So, as our last meal, end of holiday treat... More
