We visited last week on a trip to looe. Food was satisfactory but the staff on the other hand were something else. The two ladies serving front of house were the rude, abrupt and took delight in talking about / putting down customers. A word of advise if you are going to laugh at/degrade a customer at least wait until... More

Wandered in to Trawlers last night in the middle of a packed service during the music festival and was delighted when they said they could fit us in. The staff are so welcoming and helpful, even though they were completely run off their feet and the food was completely divine. I had the posh Surf and Turf and my friend... More

After experiencing a very poor restaurant in Looe last night our faith has been restored tonight. Excellent food, great friendly service and love the ambience. Well done and good luck as new owners.

We have been eating at Trawlers on the Quay for many years. Now in another new ownership, it seems to have adopted a Bistro type presentation. Starters whether Soft Shell Crab or Salt and Pepper Squid tasted exactly the same. All you could taste was the batter. Mains of 'POSH Surf and Turf' !! were so drenched in over the... More

We eat in Trawlers in early July. The food was excellent and the service was good, the restaurant was very busy as usual. We were a bit disappointed to see that it has changed hands so I'll be interested to see the new reviews for "Fish & Seafood Restaurant (@Trawlers.com)

Very well located at east Looe harbourside with a few outside tables, which was brilliant for our recent visit on a warm and sunny Sunday afternoon. We wanted a cool drink and a small meal and opted for a portion of Cornish king scallops in garlic and parsley sauce and sardines, with a side portion of homemade chips, all very tasty, lovely grub in great... We came across Trawlers by chance----one day we had a superb lunch there, and another evening an excellent dinner. Service was good, from a friendly informative staff. Nice clean restaurant---upstairs loo may prove problem for any disabled? My own niggle? Felt music was a bit transport caff---if there really has to be music, something a little less in yer face!... We soon discovered that if you want to eat somewhere half-way decent in/ near Looe, you have to book in advance. We got lucky and slipped in late to Trawlers at around 9pm, after having searched for a restaurant offering more than on vegetarian (non-fish) dish for my friend. Turned out to be a fantastic choice as unusually, every single... More

We arrived in West Looe jumped on the ferry over to East Looe and saw this restaraunt. We shared 6 starters between 2 couples and they were divine! Made an amazing start to our holiday. The food was beautiful and the staff were great. Keep up the good work we will definitely return on our next visit to Looe.
